| The WP EasyCart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.9.3. This is due to the ec_ajax_save_page_default_options() AJAX handler iterating over every $_POST key and passing it directly into update_option() without any allowlist, while gating the handler only on 'manage_options' OR the plugin's custom 'wpec_manager' capability. The plugin's built-in 'wpec_store_manager' role holds 'wpec_manager' but not 'manage_options', and the required nonce is emitted on frontend product/category templates that render for any user with 'wpec_manager'. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Store Manager-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to administrator by updating arbitrary WordPress options such as default_role='administrator' and users_can_register='1', then self-registering a new account that is assigned the administrator role. |

| The YITH WooCommerce Waitlist Premium plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 3.35.0. This is due to the add_user_in_waiting_list() function registered on the wp_ajax_yith_wcwtl_add_user action being missing both a capability check and a nonce verification, and using parse_str() + extract() to import attacker-controlled variables from $_POST['params'] that are then passed to wp_create_user() and $user->set_role(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to that of an administrator by creating a new user account and assigning it the administrator role. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: s390: vsie: zero stale crypto bits
When shadowing crypto access bits from a format0 apcb (crycb 0 or 1),
the bits 64..255 are unchanged from whatever is in the vsie page in the
crycb and thus in the apcb. This gives a nested guest potential access
to a device no longer available. Zero out the remaining bits. |

| Snipe-IT before 8.7.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in Livewire components that enforce authorization only at the route level, not within component lifecycle methods. Attackers with a valid authenticated session can replay signed component snapshots via POST /livewire/update to invoke protected methods and escalate privileges, including creating OAuth clients, minting personal access tokens, and accessing sensitive admin data. |
