As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Secure Email Gateway and Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76442 are related to issues with improper validation of specified quantity in input that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Pillar CWE-1284.

Apache Airflow Apache Kafka provider versions 1.15.0 before 2.0.0 resolve dotted-path strings found in a Kafka connection's `extra` field into Python callables via `import_string`, with no allowlist, and hand them to the confluent-kafka client which invokes them. Deployments that have enabled the Kafka event producer — `dag_run_events_enabled` or `task_instance_events_enabled`, both disabled by default — build that client inside the scheduler process, so a user whose only privilege is editing Airflow connections gains arbitrary code execution in the control plane; the Airflow security model limits connection-configuration users to code execution on workers, not the scheduler. Deployments using Google Managed Kafka are not affected, because that code path overwrites any user-supplied `oauth_cb`; plain brokers and Amazon MSK are exposed. Users are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-apache-kafka 2.0.0 or later, which adds an allowlist configuration option for connection-string callbacks.

Apache Airflow FAB provider: the Authentik OAuth path in the FAB auth manager does not validate the issuer or audience claims of the id_token it accepts. An attacker holding a token that the same Authentik identity provider minted for a different client application can present it to Airflow and be authenticated as the user it names, because the audience claim is never checked. Affects deployments using the FAB auth manager with Authentik OAuth where the same Authentik instance also serves other applications; the attacker needs a valid token for any of those other applications, not for Airflow. CVE-2026-75156 corrected the same missing validation on the Azure AD path in this file; the Authentik path was left unchanged and is fixed here. Deployments that applied the CVE-2026-75156 fix and use Authentik must also upgrade for this one. Users of apache-airflow-providers-fab are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.0 or later, which fixes the issue.

Information disclosure via SetWatches reconnect replay in Apache ZooKeeper due to missing ACL check. An attacker can discover ACL-restricted paths by registering exists-watches on non-existent paths, then reconnecting after the paths are created with restricted ACLs. Issue is caused by incomplete fix for CVE-2024-23944 (ZOOKEEPER-4799). The fix added ACL checking to WatchManager.triggerWatch(). However, DataTree.setWatches() — the SetWatches/SetWatches2 reconnect replay handler — still calls watcher.process(event) with null ACL, bypassing the check entirely. It's important to note that only the path is exposed by this vulnerability, not the data of znode, but since znode path can contain sensitive information like user name or login ID, this issue is potentially critical. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.6, 3.8.7 which fixes the issue.

Apache ZooKeeper quorum TLS fails to enforce peer hostname verification in FIPS-mode deployments. When sslQuorum=true, zookeeper.fips-mode=true, ssl.quorum.hostnameVerification=true, and ssl.quorum.clientHostnameVerification=true are enabled, the Java SSLSocket quorum path accepts a CA-trusted peer certificate whose SAN does not match the connected host. A malicious or misissued peer certificate can therefore join quorum traffic, participate in leader election, and enter replication flows. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.7 or 3.9.6, which fixes the issue.

Attackers can invoke these endpoints to manipulate shared Redis keys controlling customer auto-recycling behavior, causing mass customer data deletion, disabling lead recycling, or blocking customer creation across the deployment.

@fastify/auth is a Fastify plugin that composes multiple authentication and authorization strategies into a single route guard. In versions 5.0.0 through 5.1.0, when strategies are composed with the relation "or" option together with the run "all" option and one entry is a nested array acting as an AND group, the group is evaluated in an order-dependent way: an earlier failing check is silently dropped and the group's result becomes the outcome of its last check. As a result, a request that satisfies only the last member of an AND group, for example an attacker who holds a valid API key but is not an administrator, is authorized instead of rejected, and a related order-dependent bypass affects the mirror configuration where the top-level relation is "and" and a nested group uses "or". The issue is fixed in @fastify/auth 5.1.1, and users should upgrade to 5.1.1 or later. As a workaround, omit the run "all" option where it is not required, order each AND group so its stricter check is evaluated last, or replace nested AND groups with an explicit top-level "and" composition.

A vulnerability in Datagram TLS (DTLS) message handling of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software for Cisco Secure Firewall 3100 Series and 4200 Series devices could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper resource management when processing certain DTLS messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted stream of DTLS traffic to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.

Sanic is an opensource python web server/framework. Prior to version 24.12.1, and in version 25.12.0, the HTTP/1.1 response pipeline in sanic/response/types.py serializes response header names and values without rejecting carriage-return or line-feed characters. Applications that place attacker-controlled data in response.headers, file(..., filename=...), or cookie path and domain attributes can therefore emit injected headers and may split responses. Depending on application and proxy behavior, this can enable session fixation through injected cookies, cache poisoning, or security-header corruption. This issue is fixed in versions 24.12.1 and 25.12.1.

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration's secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. A principal that can register a Consul service can supply a secure value other than true or false, causing the exception from one instance to abort construction of the entire instance list and make the targeted service undiscoverable. When GetAllInstancesAsync enumerates all services, one malformed instance can abort enumeration across every service. The outage persists until the offending registration is removed. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, EurekaDiscoveryClient deserializes the registry response as one unit, and an unrecognized actionType or status, a non-Boolean isCoordinatingDiscoveryServer, or a nonnumeric timestamp can abort the entire response. A principal that can register or update an instance can cause all connected Steeltoe clients to receive an empty or stale instance list until the malformed registration is removed. The JsonInstanceInfoConverter, BoolStringJsonConverter, and LongStringJsonConverter parsing paths are affected. This issue is distinct from the earlier DataCenterInfo.name parsing vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise did not safely resolve symbolic links when extracting plugin archives. A crafted plugin archive can chain relative symbolic link entries to escape the plugin installation directory, writing arbitrary files and an executable backend binary outside that directory. The dropped executable runs with the privileges of the Grafana server process, resulting in remote code execution. Plugin archives are extracted before their signature is verified, so a valid plugin signature does not prevent the write. An operator can therefore be affected by installing a plugin that appears legitimate, as well as by installing a plugin from an arbitrary archive using grafana-cli, the GF_INSTALL_PLUGINS environment variable, or preinstall configuration. Grafana Enterprise is affected because it includes the same plugin extraction code as Grafana OSS.
