CVSS v3.1 |
| The affected products are missing authorization on state-changing CGIs and session checks are not performed. |
| Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.58.0, the official Docker image sets APP_SECRET to the public value change_this_to_something_unique in Dockerfile, and .docker/entrypoint.sh neither replaces nor rejects that value before Symfony uses it as kernel.secret. An unauthenticated attacker who reaches a deployment that did not override APP_SECRET, knows a username, correctly guesses the account ID associated with that username, and targets an account without active two-factor authentication can forge HMAC-protected authentication artifacts, including KIMAI_REMEMBER cookies and login links, to access the account without its password. The updated entrypoint generates and persists a random secret when no safe operator-provided value exists. This issue is fixed in version 2.58.0. |
| RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, the writeShortstr function in write.go casts the byte length of AMQP shortstr property values to uint8 without first rejecting values longer than 255 bytes. An application that accepts an oversized CorrelationId, ReplyTo, MessageId, Expiration, UserId, AppId, ContentType, ContentEncoding, or Type value can therefore serialize a wrapped length and only a truncated prefix, while reporting no error. The resulting silent metadata corruption can break request and reply correlation, routing, tracing, and downstream message processing. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0. |
| Kubero through 3.1.1 fails to apply authentication guards to the notifications API endpoints, allowing unauthenticated attackers to read webhook secrets and service URLs. Attackers can retrieve stored credentials and register malicious webhooks to intercept pipeline events or suppress alerting by deleting existing configurations. |
| Covenant through 0.6 registers the CovenantHub SignalR hub without an Authorize attribute, allowing unauthenticated callers to invoke CreateHttpListener and receive a signed JWT token. Attackers can use the obtained token to authenticate against the entire operator API and access grunts, credentials, binaries, events, and the operator roster. |
| Crawlab through 0.6.3 uses a hard-coded HMAC-SHA256 secret for JWT token signing that cannot be overridden via configuration or environment variables. Unauthenticated attackers can forge valid administrator tokens to access administrative APIs and execute code on worker nodes. |
| WNC T-Mobile 5G Box IDU router is vulnerable to a command injection. The vulnerability exists in the ping functionality within the /cgi-bin/portal.cgi endpoint, specifically affecting the ping_ip, ping_size, and ping_times POST parameters. The root cause is the failure to verify and sanitize user-supplied input before incorporating it into a system command. This allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the shell and gain root access to the system. This issue has been fixed in firmware version 1.1.0.651412 |
| RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, tlsConfigFromURI in uri.go creates tls.Config values without setting MinVersion to tls.VersionTLS12. Builds using a Go runtime whose default permits TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 can therefore negotiate an obsolete protocol version when connecting through an amqps URI. A network attacker able to influence TLS negotiation with such a legacy build may weaken transport protection for AMQP messages and credentials. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0. |
| WNC T-Mobile 5G Box IDU router contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the portal.cgi component's password change functionality. The application improperly neutralizes special elements in the http_passwd_hidden and http_passwdConfirm_hidden parameters, allowing an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges. This issue has been fixed in firmware version 1.1.0.651412 |
| WNC T-Mobile 5G Box IDU router is vulnerable to OS command injection vulnerability. The vulnerability exists within the /cgi-bin/portal.cgi endpoint, specifically through the cli_cookie POST parameter. The cli_cookie parameter value is directly concatenated into a find command string without proper sanitization. This allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands as root on the underlying operating system.
This issue has been fixed in firmware version 1.1.0.651412 |
| A vulnerability has been found in Ruijie RG-EW3000GX EW_3.0(1)B11P380. Affected by this vulnerability is the function cc_set of the file unifyframe-sgi.elf of the component configChange. Such manipulation of the argument data.url leads to os command injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| froxlor versions before 2.2.5 fail to validate newline characters in subdomain redirect URLs, allowing authenticated customers to inject arbitrary nginx or Apache configuration directives. Attackers can supply URLs containing literal newlines that are written verbatim into vhost config files during cron rebuild, enabling web server configuration corruption, denial of service, or hijacking of HTTP responses across hosted domains. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in D-Link DIR-823G 1.0.2B05_20181207. The impacted element is the function strcpy of the file /HNAP1/SetStaticRouteSettings of the component HNAP1. The manipulation of the argument PAddress/SubnetMask/Gateway results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. |
| A flaw has been found in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. The affected element is the function formPortFw of the file /boafrm/formPortFw of the component boa. This manipulation of the argument service_type causes buffer overflow. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. |
| In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability was found in the DNSSEC validator that enables denial of service and possible remote code execution as a result of digesting DNSKEYs. A DNSKEY with an owner compression pointer to its own RDATA can overflow the digest buffer. Remote code execution is possible through attacker controlled data. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by controlling a malicious zone and querying a vulnerable Unbound. |
| On affected EOS platforms with AAA-based gRPC authorization enabled for OpenConfig, gRPC requests of an authenticated user to OpenConfig may use the wrong privilege level, resulting in an authorization using the wrong AAA method list. This does not impact non-gRPC OpenConfig requests such as NETCONF. |
| An issue in MongoDB Server's intra-cluster connection setup could allow a party with suitable network access to influence which authentication mechanism is used when one replica set member connects to another. Under certain conditions, this could cause the cluster's shared internal credential to be transmitted in a less-protected form, potentially allowing that credential to be recovered. If recovered, the credential could be used to authenticate as the internal superuser to nodes in the deployment. |
| Seagull Software BarTender 2010, 2016, and 2019 contain an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the .NET Remoting service exposed on TCP port 7375 via BtSystem.Service.exe. The service registers an unauthenticated singleton endpoint — BarTenderSystem for BarTender 2016 <= R9, and DataServiceSingleton for BarTender 2019 <= R10 — configured with BinaryServerFormatterSinkProvider and TypeFilterLevel set to Full. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit .NET Remoting object unmarshalling to read or write arbitrary files on the server using the .NET WebClient class, or coerce NTLMv2 authentication by supplying a UNC path to an attacker-controlled server, enabling sensitive credential disclosure, remote code execution, or lateral movement depending on service account privileges and network environment. The service runs in the context of NT AUTHORITY\\SYSTEM. This vulnerability is corrected in BarTender 12.0.1. Users of affected releases should upgrade to BarTender 12.0.1 or later. |
| An unauthenticated P4Runtime (Programming Protocol-Independent Packet Processors Runtime) client can achieve arbitrary code execution under certain conditions on affected platforms running Arista EOS configured with P4Runtime. P4Runtime is disabled by default in Arista EOS. By crafting a malicious packet during the initiation of a P4Runtime session, an attacker can obtain complete administrative control over the compromised switch.
This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. |
| The two built-in name-finder patterns exposed by
opennlp.tools.namefind.RegexNameFinderFactory - DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.EMAIL
and DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.URL - contain ambiguous nested quantifiers. An
application that obtains these finders through
RegexNameFinderFactory.getDefaultRegexNameFinders(...) and then applies them to
untrusted text through RegexNameFinder.find(String[]) or RegexNameFinder.find(String)
can be driven into super-linear backtracking or into unbounded matcher recursion by a
small crafted input.
For the EMAIL pattern, a long run of local-part characters that is never followed by an
@ forces the matcher to re-scan to end-of-input from every starting offset. Cost grows
quadratically with input length: an input of approximately 32 KB consumes several seconds
of CPU in a single find() call and returns no match, and each doubling of the input
multiplies the cost roughly four-fold.
For the URL pattern, the query-string sub-expression nests a capturing repetition inside
an outer repetition. The JDK matcher recurses once per query token, so an input of
approximately 4 KB containing many &-separated tokens exhausts the thread stack and
causes java.lang.StackOverflowError to propagate out of find(), terminating the
calling thread. On a thread created with a smaller stack (for example -Xss512k, typical
of server worker pools) approximately 1 KB is sufficient.
In both cases an attacker who can supply text for analysis can convert a single request
into seconds to minutes of pinned CPU, or into an abrupt thread death, denying service to
the embedding application. No authentication, special configuration, or model file is
required beyond the application having selected one of the two built-in finders.
This issue affects Apache OpenNLP: from 2.0.0 through 2.5.11; from 3.0.0-M1 through
3.0.0-M5.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.5.12, or to 3.0.0-M6 for users tracking the
3.0.0 milestone line, which fix the issue. |
