Faust.js is a headless WordPress toolkit. Prior to 1.8.11, the FaustWP WordPress plugin authenticates only the ciphertext in its token envelope and excludes the 16-byte initialization vector from the HMAC in WPE\FaustWP\Auth\encrypt() and WPE\FaustWP\Auth\decrypt() in plugins/faustwp/includes/auth/functions.php. A logged-in non-administrator who obtains an authorization code from GET /generate can modify the unauthenticated initialization vector so that CBC decryption changes the token type and user identifier while the HMAC remains valid. This can produce an access token for an Administrator and permit full WordPress REST API access, administrator-account creation, plugin installation, and arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in repository version 1.8.11.

On affected platforms running Arista EOS with MLAG Dual Primary Detection configured, an unauthenticated attacker with access to the Dual Primary Detection network segment can send specially crafted packets to interfere with the dual-primary state. If the MLAG primary switch fails while these packets are present, the secondary switch incorrectly concludes it is in a dual-primary condition and err-disables its interfaces, leading to a traffic interruption.

For a secondary zone with transfers restricted by TSIG, `named` may start to serve the data provided in a zone transfer before the final message with the TSIG signature arrives. This could allow an attacker that does not actually possess a valid TSIG signature to send unauthorized zone contents to a secondary server. Although no TSIG signature ever arrives, `named` does not rollback to the pre-transfer state. To exploit the vulnerability, the transfer must be a multi-message TCP IXFR, as described by RFC 8945. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1.

A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications.

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, ping() in libmport/ping.c accepted ICMP replies without validating icmp_id or icmp_seq and parsed the reply using a fixed IP-header offset instead of ip_hl. A network attacker able to inject or spoof visible ICMP replies could influence mirror latency selection, while a malformed packet carrying IP options could shift the ICMP header and trigger an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, the mport_fetch_index(), mport_fetch_bootstrap_index(), and mport_fetch_bundle() paths in libmport/fetch.c accepted non-HTTPS repository and package mirror URLs without a url_is_https() enforcement check. When a cleartext URL was configured or returned by mirror data, a network-positioned attacker could tamper with package index or package download traffic and compromise package selection or integrity. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 8.0.0 until 12.0.24, @libp2p/peer-store in packages/peer-store/src/index.ts uses consumePeerRecord to verify a RecordEnvelope signature but does not require PeerRecord.peerId in the signed payload to equal the signer peer ID derived by RecordEnvelope.openAndCertify. The expectedPeer option checks only the envelope signer, and the gossipsub Peer Exchange path can provide the attacker's own peer ID as expectedPeer. An attacker can therefore sign a record with the attacker's key, place a victim peer ID and attacker-controlled multiaddrs in the payload, and have certified addresses stored for the victim. The poisoned addresses can cause address-book corruption, dial redirection or failure, routing manipulation, and reachability disruption, although the connection upgrade still verifies remote peer identity and prevents a complete identity takeover. The issue is fixed in version 12.0.24.

MikroTik RouterOS accepts malformed RSA/PKCS#1 v1.5 signatures across RSA-based services, including TLS/X.509 certificate validation and SSH host-key authentication. Because its trust store includes an e=3 root CA, an attacker controlling or redirecting an outbound RouterOS TLS connection can use the root’s public certificate - without its private key - to forge a trusted intermediate and issue certificates for arbitrary hostnames, enabling TLS server impersonation. The same permissive verification also undermines RSA-based SSH authentication. This issue affects only 7.x branch was fixed in versions: 7.23.6 (Long-term) and 7.24.3 (Stable). Releases 7.23.4 and 7.24.2 included an incomplete fix.

djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, for views that opt into state snapshots, the snapshot `state_json` embedded in the client page was restored on reconnect as trusted view state with no integrity check. A client could edit the unsigned `state_json` in their page and return it in the reconnect mount frame to inject arbitrary view attributes — e.g. flip `is_admin` to `True`, or change `account_id` / `balance` — escalating privilege or tampering with business state held in public view attributes (the normal djust pattern). This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. State snapshots are signed; unsigned or forged snapshots are rejected on the back-navigation restore path. As a workaround, do not enable state snapshots; do not hold authorization/ownership state in public view attributes.
