undici bundles a WebSocket client whose permessage-deflate size-limit cleanup removes all listeners from the internal zlib inflate stream, including its error listener, while that stream can still emit. When a remote peer sends a compressed payload that crosses the built-in 128 MiB decompressed-payload limit and then contains a malformed DEFLATE byte, the inflate stream emits a data error with no listener attached, which Node.js treats as a fatal unhandled error and terminates the entire process. Exploitation is remote and unauthenticated, requires no application mistake, and is asymmetric, since roughly 130 KB on the wire expands past the limit and crashes the process, and reconnecting can repeat the crash. This affects undici versions from 6.25.0 up to 6.28.1, from 7.28.0 up to 7.29.1, and from 8.1.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 6.28.1, 7.29.1, or 8.10.2.
A security vulnerability has been detected in synaptikcms synaptik-cms up to 1.3.4.4. This affects the function rename of the file admin/file-manager.php of the component Admin File Manager. The manipulation leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.3.5 is able to mitigate this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in Xpand IT Write-back Manager v2.3.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted jsp file.
The Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Overwrite in all versions up to, and including, 32.0.1 due to insufficient file path validation in the 'baseUrlForFacebook' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite known files which may lead to remote code execution when certain preconditions are met.
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, HasUploadFields methods uploadFileToDisk and uploadMultipleFilesToDisk, used through CrudTrait, and the withFiles() path through FileNameGenerator do not internally reject server-executable file types. An authenticated administrator can achieve remote code execution by using an upload-enabled CRUD field without mimes: and mimetypes: validation when the public disk is web-accessible through php artisan storage:link and the web-server and PHP-FPM configuration executes the stored extension. The legacy path preserves an accepted extension and the newer path derives an extension without blocking dangerous types. The package-level restriction is defense in depth and does not replace application-level upload validation. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.
Dell Wyse Management Suite, versions prior to 2605.0.3.683, contain an Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote execution.
Flask-Reuploaded provides file uploads for Flask. From 1.5.0 until 1.6.0, UploadSet.save(storage, name=...) in src/flask_uploads/flask_uploads.py applies lowercase_ext to the default upload path but uses the case-preserving extension helper for a caller-supplied name before extension_allowed evaluates an AllExcept denylist. An attacker who controls the name override can use a mixed-case dangerous extension to bypass a lowercase denylist and store the file in the served upload directory. Exploitation requires a denylist configuration, a user-influenced name override, and a deployment that resolves or executes extensions case-insensitively; pure allowlists remain protected and path containment is not bypassed. On an execution-capable upload directory, the stored file can execute with the web server's privileges and affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.0.
A vulnerability was identified in Anil-matcha Open-Generative-AI up to 1.0.11/2.0.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /api/upload-binary of the component S3 Upload. Such manipulation of the argument x-proxy-target-url leads to unrestricted upload. The attack may be launched remotely. The name of the patch is f013270957f75e439eaf97eb2a93decb32a4543e. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue.
@fastify/middie versions >= 9.1.0 and before 9.3.4 decide whether to run path-scoped middleware by matching against the raw request target, while the Fastify router resolves an absolute-form request target to its path before dispatching. Because the two layers evaluate different strings, a request using an absolute-form target reaches the route handler while the path-scoped middleware, such as authentication or authorization, is skipped. An unauthenticated network attacker can use this to bypass path-based access controls in a Fastify application that relies on middie for those controls. Users should upgrade to @fastify/middie 9.3.4 or later.
HotelDruid before 3.0.6 has insufficient file upload sanitation in the backup/restore function.
A vulnerability was detected in OpenClaw ClawScan up to 0.1.6. The impacted element is the function IsBinaryFile of the file internal/runner/static_scanner.go of the component File Classifier. The manipulation results in interpretation conflict. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version 0.1.7 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 04401337b3adb9343bd338b21e5e258bf49ca9c8. You should upgrade the affected component.
A weakness has been identified in PHPGurukul Bank Locker Management System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /blms/banker/add-locker-form.php. This manipulation of the argument addressproof causes unrestricted upload. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
Unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type issue exists in CONPROSYS TM Series. If a specially crafted file is uploaded by a remote authenticated attacker, an arbitrary command may be executed on the product.
A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester College Notes Gallery Management System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /dashboard/userprofile.php of the component Profile Upload. Performing a manipulation of the argument image results in unrestricted upload. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used.
fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser for Node.js, used by Fastify and ajv, that added a mailto scheme parser in version 4.1.3. In versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4, the mailto parser compares each query field name to the reserved names to, subject, and body while the name is still percent-encoded, and decodes it only when storing it as a generic header, so a percent-encoded spelling of a reserved field name is not recognized as that field at parse time but is re-emitted as the literal field name when the parsed URI is serialized. An application that validates, logs, or displays the recipient list from the first parse and then serializes the URI and sends it can silently gain an attacker-chosen recipient, and the subject and body fields can be smuggled across the same roundtrip. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 4.1.5, and users should upgrade to 4.1.5 or later. As a workaround, do not act on a mailto URI that fast-uri has re-serialized without first decoding and re-validating its recipient, subject, and body fields.
Interpretation conflict in Safebrowsing in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted file. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 3.2.0 until 3.7.13, Traefik entrypoint defenses aliasHeadersStrategy, underscoreHeadersStrategy, and forwardedHeaders inspect req.Header but not req.Trailer, allowing an unauthenticated client to submit an aliasing or trusted header name in an HTTP/1.1 chunked trailer or an HTTP/2 trailer. When the retry or buffering middleware reads the body before the reverse proxy clones the request, the attacker-controlled trailer value reaches a backend that merges trailers into the header namespace, bypassing the documented delete or reject behavior and potentially spoofing identity or forwarded routing data. This issue is fixed in 3.7.13.
A weakness has been identified in lenve vhr 1.0-SNAPSHOT. This vulnerability affects the function FastDFSUtils.upload of the file /hr/userface of the component Avatar Upload. This manipulation of the argument File causes unrestricted upload. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
