Buffer Overflow vulnerability in SQLite affected version source snapshots/builds containing Fossil check-in 8bdc0d485e3ad0c7a1e818da66f106951d496b05cbe61d12c2c448f2f24b6d5d (Git mirror 169f68ed88b34cb68f720191c64c058f2ccec508, 2026-03-11) and later snapshots/builds allows an attacker to cause a denial of service via the ext/misc/sqlar.c, sqlarUncompressFunc(), sqlar_uncompress(), sqlite3_value_int64(), sqlite3_malloc(int), uncompress() components
A security vulnerability has been detected in Open Asset Import Library Assimp up to 6.0.2. The impacted element is the function MD5Importer::MakeDataUnique of the file code/AssetLib/MD5/MD5Loader.cpp. The manipulation of the argument iNewIndex leads to heap-based buffer overflow. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The identifier of the patch is bf9dabb617c46e5133dac65cca6bff177917afcb. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue.
SSH protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.7 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service
| Several encoding modules, including HZ, UTF-7, VIQR, and ZW, did not properly check the size of the caller-supplied output buffer before writing converted characters.
An application that uses iconv(3) to convert untrusted input to or from one of the affected encodings may be vulnerable to buffer overflows if it uses one of the affected encoding modules. |
Buffer overflow in Media in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A heap overflow in the ff_sws_alphablendaway function (libswscale/alphablend.c) of FFmpeg git-master commit 722a217 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
Substance3D - Sampler is affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

A flaw was found in libtiff. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted PixarLog-compressed TIFF image. This issue occurs when decoding Pixarlog codec images with the PIXARLOGDATAFMT_8BITABGR output format and a specific stride value, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This could potentially result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS).
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability was found in libaom, the reference AV1 codec implementation. A flaw in the AV1 encoder's Look-Ahead Processing (LAP) mode causes the first-pass stats ring buffer wrap-around guard to be bypassed when g_lag_in_frames is set to 1 or higher. This results in a 232-byte out-of-bounds write on every encoded frame after the second, corrupting adjacent heap objects. An attacker who can influence encoder configuration in a transcoding service or WebRTC session could exploit this to cause a denial of service (process crash) or potentially achieve code execution.
A vulnerability was discovered in Keycloak's administrative interface that allows certain administrators to see information about groups they shouldn't have access to. When the new Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP v2) are turned on, an administrator who is allowed to see a specific "role" can also see a list of all groups assigned to that role. The system fails to check if the administrator has permission to see those specific groups. This could allow a restricted administrator to discover "hidden" groups and see their details, such as internal names and custom settings, which might contain sensitive deployment information.
Heap buffer overflow in PostgreSQL pg_dump of long function transform lists allows an object creator to execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running pg_dump, via a crafted transform list. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.
Heap buffer overflow in PostgreSQL pg_stat_statements allows the query author to execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database, via crafted queries containing array constants. Within major version 18, minor versions before PostgreSQL 18.6 are affected. Versions before PostgreSQL 18 are unaffected.
Heap buffer overflow in PostgreSQL plperl return of a tied hash allows the function owner to execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database, via a crafted function body. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.
Heap buffer overflow in PostgreSQL to_char(timestamptz) allows the party choosing the timezone to execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database, via a long POSIX timezone abbreviation. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.
Heap buffer overflow in PostgreSQL regexp allows the query author to execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database, via text that would not pass encoding validation. This shares heritage with CVE-2026-2006, but this case involved unanticipated data growth when round-tripped through pg_wchar. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.
