CVSS v3.1 |
`openvt -u` is intended to identify the owner of the current VT and then execute `login` as that user from a privileged context. In the documented `kbrequest`/init usage, the ownership test in `authenticate_user()` relies on `stat("/proc/<pid>/fd/0")`. `stat()` on `/proc/<pid>/fd/0` follows the symlink to the underlying TTY device node. As a result, `buf.st_uid` reflects the owner of the TTY node rather than the owner of the process holding the file descriptor. If the TTY owner returns to `root` or the getty owner after logout while an unprivileged process still has `fd 0` attached to that TTY, the check can incorrectly treat that process as belonging to the privileged console owner. Once that check succeeds, the `-u` path executes a passwordless login as the selected user. In the documented `kbrequest`/init deployment using `openvt -us`, this can result in passwordless `login -f root` on the spawned VT. This report establishes that privilege escalation path for that documented deployment; it does not claim equivalent reachability for deployments that do not use `openvt -u` from a privileged `kbrequest`/init path.
Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: Group Replication Plugin). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 8.4.0-8.4.10, 9.7.0-9.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0-8.0.47, 8.4.0-8.4.10 and 9.7.0-9.7.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster executes to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.4 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Access Control in Menu Item Creation in SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 4.0.0 - 6.9.0 - The add-to-menu routine invoked the com_menus item model's save() method directly. That model does not perform authorisation itself, because the relevant checks reside in the com_menus controller, and the only check applied was core.edit on com_sppagebuilder. Users with no permissions whatsoever on com_menus could therefore create menu items, and because the record identifier was taken from the submitted jform[menuid] field, could also overwrite existing ones. The home flag was read back from the database and preserved, so the site's home menu item could be repointed while remaining the home item.
An access issue was addressed with improved access restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data.
A permissions issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to read files outside of its sandbox.
Inadequate access control in Hiperdino’s REST v1.0 API. The public endpoint ‘customer/check’ could allow an authenticated attacker to enter a telephone number or an email address. When the value entered belongs to a registered customer, the service returns the associated information (email address and telephone number). No authentication is required beyond a static bearer token, and there is no rate limiting or generic error handling. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to enumerate a user’s contact details, although this would require obtaining a valid static bearer token, constituting an information disclosure vulnerability.
A weakness has been identified in cosmicstack-labs mercury-agent up to 1.2.0. This affects the function PermissionManager.checkShellCommand of the file mercury-agent/src/capabilities/permissions.ts of the component Shell Permission Manifest. Executing a manipulation can lead to information disclosure. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A weakness has been identified in lenve vhr 1.0-SNAPSHOT. This vulnerability affects the function FastDFSUtils.upload of the file /hr/userface of the component Avatar Upload. This manipulation of the argument File causes unrestricted upload. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
In RuoYi-Cloud-Plus <= 2.6.2 in the ruoyi-workflow module, multiple core task APIs in FlwTaskController lack permission annotations, and the Service layer does not verify whether the current user is the task handler/related user. Authenticated low-privileged remote attackers can read sensitive workflow task details (/task/getTask/{taskId}) and trigger unauthorized workflow executions (/task/startWorkFlow).
A security flaw has been discovered in PHPGurukul Bank Locker Management System 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file sidebar.php. The manipulation of the argument UserType results in improper access controls. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.
A vulnerability was identified in vvbbnn00 WARP-Clash-API up to c7bf2360073959861219b422e51ae86411051b46. Affected is the function get_surge_subscription of the file services/subscription.py of the component Subscription Handler. Such manipulation of the argument key leads to improper access controls. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
SQL injection vulnerability in PbootCMS versions 3.2.0 through 3.2.5 allows an authenticated user to modify arbitrary user account fields (including passwords and roles) via crafted parameters to the User/mod interface, enabling account takeover.
An issue in the /cas/login component of sso-master v1.0.0 allows attackers to authenticate into the application without a password via sending a crafted POST request.
PowerJob versions 4.x through 5.1.2 contain an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the /friend/process endpoint of the Server-Worker transport layer
An issue in HubCore v.14.1.1 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the HUBCOREID session cookie handling component.
A broken access control vulnerability in the ugw-usr-edit method of /cgi-bin/wwwugw.cgi in MBS-Solutions X-Serie Gateway firmware V6_00_05 allows a remote authenticated user with the low-privileged Standard role to change the password of arbitrary accounts.
| Bifrost registers MCP clients through its management API. A stdio client is a command plus args. Bifrost starts that program in the gateway the moment the client is added. No MCP handshake required.
The default is governance.auth_config.is_enabled=false. Auth off means every caller is a local admin. One unauthenticated POST /api/mcp/client is enough to run a program as the Bifrost process user (appuser on the official image).
transports/v2.1.0 refuses an unauthenticated stdio registration with 403. transports/v2.0.0 still allows it. |
Improper access control in Collection prior to version 1.0.1.14 in Android 15 and 2.0.02.7 in Android 16 allows local attackers to access sensitive information.
Improper access control in Watch Plugin prior to Android Watch 17 allows local attackers to access sensitive information.
Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Access Control in Gallery Image Management in SP Property < 4.1.4 - The gallery management controller tasks lacked authorization checks and CSRF token validation.. Users could invoke file removal actions with arbitrary path strings or upload unverified file types.
