CVSS v3.1 |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the multiRead request handler of Apache ZooKeeper allows a remote attacker to crash the server (denial of service) with a single small request.
The multiRead handler places no limit on the number of bundled read operations or on the cumulative size of the response it builds in memory. Because each operation's result is fully materialized and retained before serialization, a request that is small on the wire — within the jute.maxbuffer limit — but that references a large znode many times can force the server to allocate far more heap than the request size implies, exhausting the JVM heap and terminating the server with an OutOfMemoryError. Neither jute.maxbuffer nor largeRequestMaxBytes prevents this, as both bound only the inbound request, not the response.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper from 3.7.0 through 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.7, which enforces configurable limits on the multiRead operation count and cumulative response size. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the NetX Secure TLS client's ServerHello parser and DTLS client's HelloVerifyRequest parser read fields before checking that the message is long enough to contain them. A malicious server or an on-path attacker can make the client read up to three bytes past a handshake message, which can fault the client on targets with memory protection. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in Apache ZooKeeper. The server serializes its data tree to a snapshot by recursing one stack frame per znode level, with no depth bound. A client permitted to create znodes (the default root ACL is open) can build a chain of nested znodes deep enough that taking a snapshot exhausts the JVM stack and kills the snapshot thread; sizes stay within jute.maxbuffer, so existing limits do not prevent it. This is a denial of service that becomes persistent: on restart the server rebuilds the deep tree from its transaction log and fails again while taking the startup snapshot, so it does not return to service, and recovery can entail data loss. The same log affects a leader and its followers, so it can spread across an ensemble.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper 3.8.0 through 3.8.7 and 3.9.0 through 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to 3.8.8 or 3.9.7, which fix the issue. As a workaround, use ACLs and authentication to restrict znode creation rather than relying on the default open root ACL. |
| Improper handling of exceptional conditions in the quota subsystem of Apache ZooKeeper allows an attacker able to write under the /zookeeper/quota subtree — unauthenticated on default deployments, where that subtree is world-writable — to crash the server's critical request-processing thread and render the on-disk data directory permanently unbootable.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper up to and including 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.8 or 3.9.7, which fixes the issue. |
| In ShortcutInfo of ShortcutInfo.java, there is a possible way to crash the launcher via unauthorized shortcuts due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In getXmlFileNameForUser of LocaleManagerService.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confusable path traversal. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In checkWhetherCallingAppHasAccess of DownloadProvider.java, there is a possible information leak due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In loadDescription of DeviceAdminAdd.java, there is a possible denial of service due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In validEfCfis of SIMRecords.java, there is a possible way to cause a denial of service due to an uncaught exception. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible denial of service due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In checkNearbyDevicesPermission of WifiP2pServiceImpl.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |

| A Zip Slip vulnerability in the /upload endpoint of codeskyblue gohttpserver through v1.3.0 allows attackers to write arbitrary files via uploading a crafted Zip archive. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in certain ASUS Router firmware allows an unauthenticated nearby attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via a crafted device name.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS Router AiCloud Feature ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| The CookieYes WordPress plugin before 3.5.8 does not correctly restrict who can write its cookie-category script fields, and does not sanitize or escape them, allowing users with the Contributor role to store JavaScript that executes in the browsers of site visitors and of an administrator reviewing the content. |
| PLCnext Engineer checks GSDX manifest reference digests but does not cryptographically verify the XML `SignatureValue` over canonicalized `SignedInfo`. An unauthenticated local attacker can modify signed GSDML content, update its manifest digest, retain the public certificate data, and leave an invalid nonempty `SignatureValue`. PLCnext Engineer prior to 2026.6 reports the package as `Valid` and selects the modified device description for import under the default policy. |
| The PFI plugin framework deployment routine does not validate path components when extracting archive entries to the local plugin repository. Archive entries containing relative path segments such as '..' are not rejected, allowing an unauthenticated local attacker to write files outside the plugin repository to arbitrary locations accessible with the current user's permissions which could result in full system compromise. |
