CVSS v3.1 |
In affected versions of Octopus Server, a user with permission to modify non built-in external feeds could exploit a path traversal flaw to overwrite arbitrary files on the server, which in some configurations could lead to remote code execution.
A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, visionOS 27. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system.
Tanium addressed a path traversal vulnerability in Comply.
GitPython before 3.1.60 fails to properly validate the git directory location, allowing attackers to impersonate the git directory using tracked files like gitdir, commondir, and HEAD. Attackers can execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious pre-commit hook in the tracked hooks directory that executes when a victim calls index.commit() on a cloned or opened repository.
Tanium addressed a path traversal vulnerability in Comply.
A parsing issue in the handling of directory paths was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Windows PowerShell allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network.
An input validation issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An application may be able to access restricted files.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.24.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the container package OCI/tar image extraction that allows attackers to write files outside the container root by supplying a crafted container image with symlinks pointing to arbitrary paths. Attackers can exploit unsanitized tar member path extraction during container import via /container/add to achieve root-privileged file creation, directory creation, file deletion via overlayfs whiteout, and hardlink creation on the persistent data partition without ever starting the container. The 7.23.x long-term branch does not contain this fix; the container binaries in container-7.23.3.npk and container-7.23.4.npk are byte-identical, and there is no fixed long-term release at the time of publication.
A permissions issue was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, visionOS 27. A sandboxed app may be able to access restricted files.
`@zereight/mcp-gitlab` is a Model Context Protocol server for GitLab. Prior to version 2.1.27, the SSE transport mode (`SSE=true`) exposes all MCP tools without any authentication. The `upload_markdown` tool reads arbitrary files from the server's local filesystem via an unsanitized `file_path` parameter and uploads them to a GitLab project. Combined, any unauthenticated network-reachable attacker can read `/proc/self/environ` to steal the server's `GITLAB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN` and achieve full GitLab account takeover. This is the default configuration for Docker deployments. Version 2.1.27 contains a patch.
A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, visionOS 27. Extracting a maliciously crafted archive may allow an attacker to write arbitrary files.
MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.5, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts uses root-anchored deny-list patterns, so nested .git, .obsidian, and node_modules path segments do not match the restriction and pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing(). An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can traverse nested repository or Obsidian metadata, read remote URLs or embedded tokens, or cause nested node_modules content to pollute the listAllTags index. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.5.
In ONNX before 1.21.0, the 'save_external_data' function builds the external-data file path from the model's external_data location field and opens it for writing without 'O_NOFOLLOW/O_EXCL', after a non-atomic 'os.path.isfile()' check. A local attacker with write access to the directory where a victim serializes external data can deterministically pre-plant a symlink that is being followed, causing the victim's write to append to any file the victim can write, e.g. ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, cron files, or application configs. Fixed in 1.21.0.
A permissions issue was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An application may be able to access restricted files.
A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to gain root privileges.
A path traversal issue was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An attacker with control of a network directory server may be able to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.
OneNav v1.2.4 contains an authenticated arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in the Api::upload() method in class/Api.php. An authenticated administrator can submit a non-HTML upload filename matching an existing file in the application's working directory. The application passes the user-controlled filename to unlink() when rejecting the upload, potentially causing file deletion and denial of service.
An issue was discovered in Keyfactor SignServer before 7.6.0. The output file to which SignerStatusReportWorker logs the report can be set to any path, even one that points to a file that already exists. This gives a user (with admin access) the possibility to write files in arbitrary directories in the server filesystem and potentially overwrite files accessible by the local user JBoss.
IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to create arbitrary files due to path traversal during archive extraction.
