CVSS v3.1 |
| Smart Software Solutions (3S) CoDeSys Runtime Toolkit before 2.4.7.44 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via unspecified vectors. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in local file management for certain system log files of Cisco collaboration products that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause high disk utilization, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability occurs because a certain system log file does not have a maximum size restriction. Therefore, the file is allowed to consume the majority of available disk space on the appliance. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted remote connection requests to the appliance. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to increase the size of a system log file so that it consumes most of the disk space. The lack of available disk space could lead to a DoS condition in which the application functions could operate abnormally, making the appliance unstable. This vulnerability affects the following Cisco Voice Operating System (VOS)-based products: Emergency Responder, Finesse, Hosted Collaboration Mediation Fulfillment, MediaSense, Prime License Manager, SocialMiner, Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence Service (IM&P - earlier releases were known as Cisco Unified Presence), Unified Communication Manager Session Management Edition (SME), Unified Contact Center Express (UCCx), Unified Intelligence Center (UIC), Unity Connection, Virtualized Voice Browser. This vulnerability also affects Prime Collaboration Assurance and Prime Collaboration Provisioning. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvd10872, CSCvf64322, CSCvf64332, CSCvi29538, CSCvi29543, CSCvi29544, CSCvi29546, CSCvi29556, CSCvi29571, CSCvi31738, CSCvi31741, CSCvi31762, CSCvi31807, CSCvi31818, CSCvi31823. |
| IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0, 27.0.1, and 28.0 IO Module could allow a local user to create multiple files that could exhaust the file handles capacity and cause a denial of service. |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in the SVG implementation in Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 35.0.1916.114, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors that trigger removal of an SVGFontFaceElement object, related to core/svg/SVGFontFaceElement.cpp. |
| Memory leak in Siemens Automation License Manager (ALM) 4.x and 5.x before 5.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via crafted packets. |
| Vulnerability of improper resource management in the memory management module
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: Fix improper handling of refcount in ice_sriov_set_msix_vec_count()
This patch addresses an issue with improper reference count handling in the
ice_sriov_set_msix_vec_count() function.
First, the function calls ice_get_vf_by_id(), which increments the
reference count of the vf pointer. If the subsequent call to
ice_get_vf_vsi() fails, the function currently returns an error without
decrementing the reference count of the vf pointer, leading to a reference
count leak. The correct behavior, as implemented in this patch, is to
decrement the reference count using ice_put_vf(vf) before returning an
error when vsi is NULL.
Second, the function calls ice_sriov_get_irqs(), which sets
vf->first_vector_idx. If this call returns a negative value, indicating an
error, the function returns an error without decrementing the reference
count of the vf pointer, resulting in another reference count leak. The
patch addresses this by adding a call to ice_put_vf(vf) before returning
an error when vf->first_vector_idx < 0.
This bug was identified by an experimental static analysis tool developed
by our team. The tool specializes in analyzing reference count operations
and identifying potential mismanagement of reference counts. In this case,
the tool flagged the missing decrement operation as a potential issue,
leading to this patch. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/fbdev-dma: Only set smem_start is enable per module option
Only export struct fb_info.fix.smem_start if that is required by the
user and the memory does not come from vmalloc().
Setting struct fb_info.fix.smem_start breaks systems where DMA
memory is backed by vmalloc address space. An example error is
shown below.

Additionally, DMA memory is assumed to by contiguous in physical
address space, which is not guaranteed by vmalloc().
Resolve this by checking the module flag drm_leak_fbdev_smem when
DRM allocated the instance of struct fb_info. Fbdev-dma then only
sets smem_start only if required (via FBINFO_HIDE_SMEM_START). Also
guarantee that the framebuffer is not located in vmalloc address
space. |

---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]---
The warning complains about an attempt to unregister an
unregistered tracepoint.
This happens on trace-cmd because it first stops tracing, and
then switches the tracer to nop. Which is equivalent to:
# cd /sys/kernel/tracing/
# echo osnoise > current_tracer
# echo 0 > tracing_on
# echo nop > current_tracer
The osnoise tracer stops the workload when no trace instance
is actually collecting data. This can be caused both by
disabling tracing or disabling the tracer itself.
To avoid unregistering events twice, use the existing
trace_osnoise_callback_enabled variable to check if the events
(and the workload) are actually active before trying to
deactivate them. |

[CAUSE]
Since commit e15e9f43c7ca ("btrfs: introduce
BTRFS_QGROUP_RUNTIME_FLAG_NO_ACCOUNTING to skip qgroup accounting"), if
our qgroup is already in inconsistent state, we will no longer do the
time-consuming backref walk.
This can leave some qgroup records without a valid old_roots ulist.
Normally this is fine, as btrfs_qgroup_account_extents() would also skip
those records if we have NO_ACCOUNTING flag set.
But there is a small window, if we have NO_ACCOUNTING flag set, and
inserted some qgroup_record without a old_roots ulist, but then the user
triggered a qgroup rescan.
During btrfs_qgroup_rescan(), we firstly clear NO_ACCOUNTING flag, then
commit current transaction.
And since we have a qgroup_record with old_roots = NULL, we trigger the
WARN_ON() during btrfs_qgroup_account_extents().
[FIX]
Unfortunately due to the introduction of NO_ACCOUNTING flag, the
assumption that every qgroup_record would have its old_roots populated
is no longer correct.
Fix the false alerts and drop the WARN_ON(). |
| The KVM subsystem in the Linux kernel through 4.2.6, and Xen 4.3.x through 4.6.x, allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service (host OS panic or hang) by triggering many #DB (aka Debug) exceptions, related to svm.c. |
| A vulnerability in the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) subsystem of Cisco IOS XE 3.16 could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a race condition that could occur when the affected software processes an SNMP read request that contains certain criteria for a specific object ID (OID) and an active crypto session is disconnected on an affected device. An attacker who can authenticate to an affected device could trigger this vulnerability by issuing an SNMP request for a specific OID on the device. A successful exploit will cause the device to restart due to an attempt to access an invalid memory region. The attacker does not control how or when crypto sessions are disconnected on the device. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvb94392. |
| A HTTP/2 implementation built using any version of the Python priority library prior to version 1.2.0 could be targeted by a malicious peer by having that peer assign priority information for every possible HTTP/2 stream ID. The priority tree would happily continue to store the priority information for each stream, and would therefore allocate unbounded amounts of memory. Attempting to actually use a tree like this would also cause extremely high CPU usage to maintain the tree. |
| Cisco IOS before 15.2(4)S6 does not initialize an unspecified variable, which might allow remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption, watchdog timeout, crash) by walking specific SNMP objects. |
| NSD before 4.1.11 allows remote DNS master servers to cause a denial of service (/tmp disk consumption and slave server crash) via a zone transfer with unlimited data. |
| An IKE Packet Parsing Denial of Service Vulnerability in the ipsecmgr process of Cisco ASR 5000 Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the ipsecmgr process to reload. | An issue was discovered in Moxa SoftCMS versions prior to Version 1.6. Moxa SoftCMS Webserver does not properly validate input. An attacker could provide unexpected values and cause the program to crash or excessive consumption of resources could result in a denial-of-service condition. |
| A vulnerability in the TCP state machine of Cisco RF Gateway 1 devices could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to prevent an affected device from delivering switched digital video (SDV) or video on demand (VoD) streams, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a processing error with TCP connections to the affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by establishing a large number of TCP connections to an affected device and not actively closing those TCP connections. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to prevent the affected device from delivering SDV or VoD streams to set-top boxes. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvf19887. |
| A vulnerability in the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) decoder of the Cisco NetFlow Generation Appliance (NGA) with software before 1.1(1a) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to hang or unexpectedly reload, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to incomplete validation of SCTP packets being monitored on the NGA data ports. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malformed SCTP packets on a network that is monitored by an NGA data port. SCTP packets addressed to the IP address of the NGA itself will not trigger this vulnerability. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause the appliance to become unresponsive or reload, causing a DoS condition. User interaction could be needed to recover the device using the reboot command from the CLI. The following Cisco NetFlow Generation Appliances are vulnerable: NGA 3140, NGA 3240, NGA 3340. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvc83320. |
| A vulnerability in the handling of IP fragments for the Cisco Small Business SPA300, SPA500, and SPA51x Series IP Phones could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to the inability to handle many large IP fragments for reassembly in a short duration. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted stream of IP fragments to the targeted device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the device unexpectedly reloads. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve82586. |
