| CWE-502: Deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability exists that could lead to loss of confidentiality, integrity
and potential remote code execution on workstation when a non-admin authenticated user opens a malicious
project file. |
| A deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability exists in NI DAQExpress that may result in remote code execution. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted project file. This vulnerability affects DAQExpress 5.1 and prior versions. Please note that DAQExpress is an EOL product and will not receive any updates. |
| A deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability exists in NI G Web Development Software that may result in arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted project file. This vulnerability affects G Web Development Software 2022 Q3 and prior versions. |
| The Photo Gallery – Responsive Photo Gallery, Image Gallery, Portfolio Gallery, Logo Gallery And Team Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 via deserialization via shortcode of untrusted input from the 'awl_lg_settings_' attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code. |
| The Logo Showcase Ultimate – Logo Carousel, Logo Slider & Logo Grid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.8 via deserialization via shortcode of untrusted input. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in milvus up to 2.6.7. This vulnerability affects the function expr.Exec of the file pkg/util/expr/expr.go of the component HTTP Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument code leads to deserialization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. A fix is planned for the next release 2.6.8. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Kaltura versions prior to 11.1.0-2 due to unsafe deserialization of user-controlled data within the keditorservices module. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted serialized PHP object in the kdata GET parameter to the redirectWidgetCmd endpoint. Successful exploitation leads to execution of arbitrary PHP code in the context of the web server process. |
| An issue was discovered in RDoc 6.3.3 through 6.6.2, as distributed in Ruby 3.x through 3.3.0. When parsing .rdoc_options (used for configuration in RDoc) as a YAML file, object injection and resultant remote code execution are possible because there are no restrictions on the classes that can be restored. (When loading the documentation cache, object injection and resultant remote code execution are also possible if there were a crafted cache.) The main fixed version is 6.6.3.1. For Ruby 3.0 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.3.4.1. For Ruby 3.1 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.4.1.1. For Ruby 3.2 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.5.1.1. |
| This repository hosts source code implementing the Trusted Computing Group's (TCG) TPM2 Software Stack (TSS). The JSON Quote Info returned by Fapi_Quote has to be deserialized by Fapi_VerifyQuote to the TPM Structure `TPMS_ATTEST`. For the field `TPM2_GENERATED magic` of this structure any number can be used in the JSON structure. The verifier can receive a state which does not represent the actual, possibly malicious state of the device under test. The malicious device might get access to data it shouldn't, or can use services it shouldn't be able to. This
issue has been patched in version 4.1.0. |
| The ConvertPlug plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.25 via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'settings_encoded' attribute of the 'smile_info_bar' shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code. |
| A vulnerability in the h2oai/h2o-3 repository allows attackers to exploit deserialization of untrusted data, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and reading of system files. This issue affects the latest master branch version 3.47.0.99999. The vulnerability arises from the ability to bypass regular expression filters intended to prevent malicious parameter injection in JDBC connections. Attackers can manipulate spaces between parameters to evade detection, allowing for unauthorized file access and code execution. The vulnerability is addressed in version 3.46.0.8. |
| There is a vulnerability in AVEVA PI Web API that could allow malicious code to execute on the PI Web API environment under the privileges of an interactive user that was socially engineered to use API XML import functionality with content supplied by an attacker. |
| Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in WebToffee Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce. This issue affects Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce: from n/a through 2.4.9. |
| Hugging Face smolagents Remote Python Executor Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Hugging Face smolagents. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of pickle data. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the service account. Was ZDI-CAN-28312. |
| A weakness has been identified in nutzam NutzBoot up to 2.6.0-SNAPSHOT. This affects the function getInputStream of the file nutzcloud/nutzcloud-literpc/src/main/java/org/nutz/boot/starter/literpc/impl/endpoint/http/HttpServletRpcEndpoint.java of the component LiteRpc-Serializer. Executing a manipulation can lead to deserialization. The attack may be launched remotely. This attack is characterized by high complexity. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. |
| Deserialization of untrusted data can occur in versions 3.7.0 or newer of Ydata's ydata-profiling open-source library, enabling a malicously crafted report to run arbitrary code on an end user's system when loaded. |
| Deseriliazation of untrusted data can occur in versions 3.7.0 or newer of Ydata's ydata-profiling open-source library, enabling a maliciously crafted dataset to run arbitrary code on an end user's system when loaded. |
