CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in an internal service of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive configuration information from an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to missing authentication on the Policy Runtime Repository Table (PRRT) service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive configuration information from the affected device. |
| gitoxide gix-fs before 0.23.0 contains a path validation bypass vulnerability in the worktree checkout mechanism that allows attackers to escape the worktree directory via symlink manipulation. During forced checkout with overwrite_existing enabled, attackers can craft malicious repository trees where symlink entries replace validated directories, causing subsequent files to be written outside the worktree through the symlink for code execution or file manipulation. |
| A vulnerability in the endpoint posture status reporting functionality of the guest portal web application of Cisco ISE could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to submit forged posture status events into the endpoint posture pipeline.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient authentication on an internal interface that is exposed through the guest portal. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to manipulate the posture status on the affected system. |
| InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane fails to revoke administrative privileges after a role downgrade because Admin_Controller trusts the user_type snapshot stored in an existing session instead of revalidating ip_users.user_type. When one administrator downgrades another account, the target's active session continues to authorize administrative requests. The downgraded user can use Users::form() to set user_type back to 1, restoring the database role and making the privilege escalation persistent. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.2. |
| A vulnerability in an API of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read specific files on the underlying operating system of an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper restriction of XML external entity references. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read specific files on the affected system that the underlying process has permission to access. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct an SQL or HQL injection attack on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input to the affected APIs before it is used to build database queries. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary SQL or HQL queries against the underlying database, which could allow the attacker to view or modify data that they are not authorized to access. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. |

| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) engineering teams have conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20234 are related to insufficiently protected credentials issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Pillar CWE-522. |

| The Kaon AR2140X router improperly issues session cookies in responses to unauthenticated HTTP requests. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain a valid session identifier without providing credentials, resulting in an authentication bypass. With this access, the attacker can perform unauthorized actions on upgrade-related functionalities. These actions can be abused to force the router to issue GET requests to arbitrarily chosen domains.
This issue was identified in firmware versions up to 4.2.17. Status of newer versions remains unknown. |
| The Kaon AR2140X router contains a vulnerability where the backup functionality is accessible without authentication. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger a configuration backup and retrieve it in a form encrypted by a device-specific key. Triggering this function renders the router inoperable for a substantial period of time.
This issue was identified in firmware versions up to 4.2.17. Status of newer versions remains unknown. |
| A vulnerability in the offline profiler feed service of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files that are stored on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to the parsing of attacker-controlled feed metadata with an XML parser that does not disable external entity resolution. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading a crafted offline feed package through the administrative interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from the file system and issue requests to internal systems from the affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. |
| A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct SQL injection attacks against the monitoring database.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of specific parameters that are then concatenated into an SQL statement. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request that contains SQL statements in one of the affected parameters. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read information from the monitoring database. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Kubernetes kubectl client's kubectl cp command on Windows. When copying files from a container, kubectl runs tar inside the container to build a tar archive, transfers it over the network, and unpacks it on the local machine. If the tar binary in the container is malicious, it can execute arbitrary code and emit unexpected output, allowing an attacker who controls container contents to write files to arbitrary paths on the user's local machine when kubectl cp is invoked, limited only by the system permissions of the local user. This issue only affects kubectl clients running on Windows. |
| Apache Karaf's instance-management service (InstanceServiceImpl) builds the command line used to launch a child Karaf JVM by string concatenation, then executes it through /bin/sh (Unix) or cscript (Windows). The caller-supplied javaOpts value is spliced into that string unquoted. A javaOpts value containing shell metacharacters (;, |, `, $(...)) is interpreted by the shell instead of being passed to the JVM as an option, giving arbitrary OS command execution as the Karaf process user.
Reachable via the shell commands instance:create, instance:start, instance:restart, instance:change-opts, and the equivalent InstanceMBean JMX operations (createInstance, startInstance, changeJavaOpts, cloneInstance).
Mitigation * Set karaf.secured.command.compulsory.roles=admin in etc/system.properties to close the fail-open gap for all unconfigured command scopes.
* Restrict which principals can reach instance:* commands and InstancesMBean via etc/users.properties role assignments.
* Treat javaOpts passed to instance:create/instance:start/instance:change-opts/InstancesMBean as untrusted input only from fully-trusted operators. |
| A weakness has been identified in dbgate up to 7.3.1. Affected is the function exportModelSql of the file packages/api/src/controllers/databaseConnections.js of the component Export Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument outputFile can lead to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Zscaler MCP Server versions 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 has an issue where HMAC confirmation tokens were not bound to the target resource identifier, allowing an MCP client or agent to replay a token generated for one resource to affect another resource of the same type. This issue is fixed in version 0.7.2. |
