| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') vulnerability in Apache APISIX.
A caller who holds valid credentials for one entry in the LDAP directory can authenticate through APISIX as a consumer mapped to a different entry, one the plugin's configured scope was meant to keep out of reach.
This issue affects Apache APISIX: from 2.11.0 through 3.17.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.18.0, which fixes the issue. |

| To retrieve the previous timer value, the kernel calls realtimer_gettime(), which obtains the current time for the timer's clock. For a timer using CLOCK_TAI this can fail when no TAI offset has been configured, but the error return was not checked, so the uninitialized output buffer was copied to userspace.
An unprivileged local user can obtain uninitialized kernel stack memory by creating a POSIX timer with CLOCK_TAI and calling timer_settime(2), potentially disclosing sensitive kernel data. |

| A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
power: supply: max17040: handle missing status supplier
MAX17040 does not report charger state itself, so the driver forwards
POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_STATUS to a supplier power supply. If no supplier is
registered, power_supply_get_property_from_supplier() returns -ENODEV and
leaves the output value untouched.
max17040_get_property() currently ignores that error and returns success,
so userspace can read an uninitialized status value from the battery power
supply. This happens on systems that use the fuel gauge without a charger
supplier relationship in firmware.
Return POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS_UNKNOWN when no supplier provides STATUS, and
propagate other supplier lookup errors. |

| A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories. The issue occurs when a delegated administrator performs a search using a specific LDAP entry Distinguished Name (DN). Due to missing validation, the system allows lookups for users located outside the configured search boundary, leading to the disclosure of account information from unauthorized parts of the directory and unintended importing of those users into local storage. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Pad trailing CCA or EP11 message with zeros
The both functions xcrb_msg_to_type6cprb_msgx() and
xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() copy the user space message into a
kernel buffer based on the message length. But on further processing
the message is supposed to be 4 byte length adjusted. Thus up to 3
bytes of uninitialized kernel memory are forwarded to further
processing steps and may unwanted expose kernel memory to the crypto
card firmware.
This patch contains code to pad the gap between user space copied
message and message buffer length sent down to further processing of
the CCA or EP11 message to zeros. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: synaptics-rmi4 - propagate F54 worker errors to V4L2 queue
Previously, rmi_f54_buffer_queue() waited for the worker thread to
finish but ignored whether it succeeded. If the worker failed (e.g.,
due to a timeout or register read failure), the queue thread would
silently return success, delivering stale or uninitialized memory to
userspace.
Add a 'report_error' field to struct f54_data to store the worker's exit
status. Check this field in rmi_f54_buffer_queue() after the worker
finishes, and mark the buffer as VB2_BUF_STATE_ERROR if an error
occurred. |
