| Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
Authenticated users can store a spreadsheet formula payload in one of their own plain attributes. When such users are included in a CSV export and the generated CSV file is opened by a spreadsheet application, the formula may be executed.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 Through 4.0.7, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.2.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.8 / 4.1.3, which fix this issue. |
| NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. In versions up to and including 3.0.0, deployments using the shipped default configuration exposed two GraphQL developer features without requiring authentication: the GraphiQL playground, an interactive UI for issuing GraphQL queries; and schema introspection, which lets a caller download the full description of every query, mutation, type, and argument the API supports. Anyone who could reach the `/graphiql` endpoint could open the playground in a browser, pull the full schema, and use that to map out the API and craft calls against it. By itself this does not leak user data, but it removes the guesswork from attacking the rest of the API and significantly lowers the bar for finding and exploiting other weaknesses. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue. As a workaround, override the two settings in deployed configuration. |
| A vulnerability was found in GPAC up to f1219cde. The affected element is the function gf_sg_script_load of the file scenegraph/vrml_tools.c of the component MP4Box. Performing a manipulation results in use after free. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version abi-16.23 is sufficient to fix this issue. The patch is named 9eb40df4448b88d6a6ce3454657c06f47eff0b24. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. |
| A weakness has been identified in Matthias-Wandel jhead up to 3.3. This affects the function Get16u of the file exif.c of the component EXIF Parsing. This manipulation causes out-of-bounds read. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. Impacted is the function formNewSchedule of the file /boafrm/formNewSchedule of the component boa. The manipulation of the argument submit-url results in buffer overflow. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit is now public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability was found in GPAC up to f1219cde. This affects the function gf_bt_report of the file scene_manager/loader_bt.c of the component MP4Box. The manipulation results in memory corruption. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version abi-16.23 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is identified as afca1f1181668d85941d51ed1adf647807d5d975. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| An issue in GPAC c2dee3aff638cd96f9617ac5b17dc2868cd90ef3 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code via the src/media_tools/dvb_mpe.c, descriptorTime_slice_fec_identifier() and gf_m2ts_ipdatagram_reader() components. Fixed in 0e4093392e1f847c90d20e031e893cd942fef938. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: gate nfs3 setacl by argp->mask
nfsd3_proc_setacl() calls set_posix_acl() unconditionally for both
ACL_TYPE_ACCESS and ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, passing argp->acl_access and
argp->acl_default verbatim. The NFSv3 ACL decoder only populates
those pointers when the corresponding mask bit is set:
nfs3svc_decode_setaclargs()
if (args->mask & NFS_ACL) decode into acl_access
if (args->mask & NFS_DFACL) decode into acl_default
/* otherwise the pointer stays NULL (pc_argzero) */
nfsd3_proc_setacl()
set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_ACCESS, argp->acl_access)
set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, argp->acl_default)
set_posix_acl(idmap, dentry, type, NULL) is the VFS "remove this
ACL type" operation. A NULL pointer that means "the client did not
send this arm" is therefore indistinguishable from "the client
asked to remove this ACL". A SETACL with mask=NFS_ACL silently
drops the directory's default ACL; mask=0 drops both.
The sibling nfsd3_proc_getacl() already consults argp->mask before
touching each arm; mirror that in setacl.
Fix by wrapping each set_posix_acl() call in the matching mask bit
check and initializing error to 0 before inode_lock so that a
request with neither bit set leaves the on-disk ACLs untouched and
returns nfs_ok. The out_drop_lock path and the unconditional
posix_acl_release() at out: are preserved; both NULL-tolerate the
skipped arms. |
