CVSS v3.1 |
| ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js. All versions from 1.1.0 up to (but not including) 5.2.5, from 6.0.0 up to 6.2.4, from 7.0.0 up to 7.5.11, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.21.0 are affected by a memory exhaustion DoS vulnerability. A peer can send a high volume of exceptionally small fragments and data chunks, with modest network traffic, to force the remote peer into allocating and holding structural wrappers that consume far more memory than the default documented message-size limit, leading to process termination due to OOM. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.2.5, 6.2.4, 7.5.11, and 8.21.0. |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-http2 prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, the `DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener` class orchestrates HTTP/2 decompression by embedding a per-stream `EmbeddedChannel` that runs the appropriate decompression codec (gzip, deflate, zstd) and forwards decompressed chunks to a wrapped listener. Each decompressed chunk is a pooled `ByteBuf` handed to an anonymous `ChannelInboundHandlerAdapter` tail handler, which becomes the sole owner responsible for releasing it. A remote peer could send frames that would result in the flow-controller throwing and so trigger a resource leak which at the end might take down the whole JVM due OOME. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue. |
| Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Axios versions before 0.32.0 on the 0.x line and before 1.16.0 on the 1.x line build a regular expression from the configured XSRF cookie name without escaping regex metacharacters. In standard browser environments, an attacker who can influence the cookie name passed to axios can cause expensive regex backtracking while axios reads document.cookie. The practical impact is client-side availability degradation, such as freezing the affected browser tab while axios prepares a request. The issue does not affect ordinary Node.js HTTP adapter usage, React Native, or web workers, where axios does not read document.cookie. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.32.0 and 1.16.0. |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, the MQTT 5 header Properties section is parsed and buffered before any message size limit is applied. Specifically, in MqttDecoder, the decodeVariableHeader() method is called before the bytesRemainingBeforeVariableHeader > maxBytesInMessage check. The decodeVariableHeader() can call other methods which will call decodeProperties(). Effectively, Netty does not apply any limits to the size of the properties being decoded. Additionally, because MqttDecoder extends ReplayingDecoder, Netty will repeatedly re-parse the enormous Properties sections and buffer the bytes in memory, until the entire thing parses to completion. This can cause high resource usage in both CPU and memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. |

| Impact:
The undici WebSocket client enforces maxPayloadSize on the cumulative byte count of fragments in a message but does not enforce a limit on the number of fragments. A malicious WebSocket server can stream many small or empty continuation frames that each pass per-frame and cumulative-size validation, collectively causing unbounded memory growth in the client process. The result is memory exhaustion and a denial of service.
Affected applications are those using the undici WebSocket client (new WebSocket(...)) or the WebSocketStream API that can be induced to connect to an attacker-controlled or compromised WebSocket endpoint.
All releases starting at undici 6.17.0 are affected.
Patches: Upgrade to undici >= 6.26.0, >= 7.28.0, or >= 8.5.0. Workarounds:
No workaround is available. The fix must be applied through an upgrade. |
| Consul and Consul Enterprise are vulnerable to a denial of service in the native RPC listener that may allow an authenticated client to exhaust server memory before ACL authorization is evaluated. A client that can complete the internal RPC mTLS handshake may exploit this issue without holding a valid ACL token. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-87106) is fixed in Consul 2.0.4 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.18, 1.22.12 and 2.0.4. |
| IBM MQ Agent CD: v1.0.0, v1.0.1, v2.0.0, v2.0.1 An authenticated user with a valid session cookie can submit arbitrarily large or computationallyexpensive requests that cause the LLM agent workers to be held for extended periods — rangingfrom tens of seconds to over ten minutes per request. When multiple such requests are sentconcurrently, the agent worker pool becomes exhausted, causing all other IBM MQ Console users toexperience degraded performance or complete unavailability of the AI Agent feature. |
| Use after free in Windows Biometric Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of CPPM could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to cause instability and degrade performance of the vulnerable CPPM server. |
| GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.13 improperly manages PTZ connection state, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to block the accept loop and prevent new PTZ connections. |
| GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.14 (260903) allows unauthenticated clients to declare unbounded VLSVR frame lengths and indefinitely delay blocking receives, allowing remote exhaustion of memory, connection, and worker resources. |
| Snipe-IT before 8.7.1 fails to validate the length of the note field in the POST /account/accept/{acceptance} endpoint, allowing authenticated users to submit unbounded input that reaches synchronous CommonMark rendering. Attackers can submit large note values to exhaust PHP worker CPU and cause denial of service through resource exhaustion in the markdown parsing pipeline. |
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.39.2 fail to limit JSON payload size in ModalFormResponsePacket handling, allowing authenticated players to cause denial of service. Attackers can send modal form response packets with massive JSON arrays to exhaust server memory and CPU resources, rendering the server unresponsive. |
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.25.2 fail to limit the explode() function in packet parsing, allowing malicious clients to waste server resources. Attackers can send crafted packets with excessive delimiters to consume CPU and memory through sign editing, JWT parsing, and command parsing endpoints. |
| Applications that evaluate user-supplied Spring Expression Language (SpEL) expressions may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack when the power operator (^) is used with a BigDecimal or BigInteger operand and a large exponent value.
Spring Framework 7.0.0 - 7.0.8
Spring Framework 6.2.0 - 6.2.19
Spring Framework 6.1.0 - 6.1.28
Spring Framework 6.0.0 - 6.0.30
Spring Framework 5.3.0 - 5.3.49
Spring Framework 5.2.25.RELEASE and earlier |
| An issue in the btm_acl_handle() function of Bestechnic Co., Ltd BES2300 Bluetooth Audio SoC firmware v3.x and earlier allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via sending a crafted L2CAP packet. |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.124.0 until 0.142.0, openapi3filter.sliceMapToSlice in openapi3filter/req_resp_decoder.go converts attacker-controlled sparse indexes from a deepObject query parameter into a dense slice by allocating entries from zero through the largest supplied index, after which buildResObj creates another slice of the same length. This allocation occurs before schema validation, so maxItems does not prevent it. An unauthenticated client can send a small query such as param[items][50000000]=x to an endpoint whose deepObject schema contains an array, forcing multi-gigabyte heap allocation and causing an OOM kill or restart loop. Other request-body encodings and styled parameters that do not produce bracketed integer indexes are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.142.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe: Fix DPT allocation paths.
Remove the fallback for VRAM to system memory, I tested it and that
doesn't work at all, only a black screen with pipe fault errors were
observed.
On systems with media GT, extra latency is added when accessing stolen
memory when the GT is in MC6. Since we additionally aren't counting how
much memory is used for stolen and we could in theory fill up the
entire stolen area with DPT's, avoid using stolen and only use the
default memory region.
Using stolen may also result in random system hangs under load.
