| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user that holds a role with the edit_user capability could create a native Splunk username that ends with a period. The vulnerability is possible because username validation does not reject a trailing period before the username is used for a user directory. This can cause distinct native Splunk usernames to share per-user configuration data, and user-management operations can affect the wrong account or fail. | In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could cause Splunk Secure Gateway to sign attacker-controlled payloads. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Secure Gateway does not verify that the user is authorized to request a signature. Splunk Secure Gateway versions below 3.10.11, 3.9.25, and 3.8.72 are also affected. | In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a user that holds a role with the read_o11y_content capability could inject forged entries into the app log through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk App for Splunk O11y Cloud does not neutralize user-supplied SignalFlow content before writing it to the app log.
Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4.x are not affected. |

| A vulnerability has been identified regarding insufficient validation in the Frappe Cloud/ERPNext authentication process, which allows multiple email addresses to be accepted by manipulating the email field in the /api/method/press.api.account.signup endpoint. The vulnerability occurs when an unauthenticated remote attacker adds more than one email address.
The service processes the entire value as a valid list of recipients and sends the OTP code to all addresses without proper validation of all added emails (only one of them needs to be valid). Exploiting this vulnerability would allow an attacker to:
* Obtain the authentication OTP;
* Impersonate someone else in the registration process;
* Register accounts using other people's email addresses without access to the mailbox;
* Indirectly confirm the existence of already registered email addresses. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in DcmSequenceOfItems::read() and DcmItem::read() in the dcmdata library of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a DICOM dataset containing deeply nested sequences (SQ elements). The dataset can be sent in a C-STORE request to storescp, dcmrecv, dcmqrscp, or any other DICOM service built on DCMTK, because the received dataset is parsed before any authentication takes place. Local tools such as dcmdump also crash when opening such a file. The issue is fixed in commit 885ff0f10372bd589b5f44cea974f28a3964cb0f, which adds a configurable sequence nesting depth limit (default 64). |

A local user who can cause an application to print help under those conditions may cause that application to crash or fail to display help, resulting in a denial of service of the affected application. |
