CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bootconfig: Fix integer overflow in initrd size check
Sashiko reported that in get_boot_config_from_initrd(), a crafted initrd
with a huge bootconfig size (such as 0xFFFFFFFF) can cause the pointer
arithmetic:
data = ((void *)hdr) - size;
to wrap around on 32-bit systems (or when pointer subtraction overflows).
Because data wraps around, the subsequent bounds check:
if ((unsigned long)data < initrd_start)
evaluates to false, bypassing the check. The kernel then calls
xbc_calc_checksum(data, size), which attempts to read 4GB of memory,
hitting unmapped pages and triggering a fatal kernel page fault during
early boot. Furthermore, on 64-bit systems with an initrd > 4.29 GB, an
unbounded 32-bit size can similarly bypass the initrd_start check.
Fix this by:
1. Ensuring the initrd is at least large enough to contain the bootconfig
footer and verifying hdr is within the initrd bounds.
2. Checking that size does not exceed XBC_DATA_MAX and does not exceed
the available space between initrd_start and hdr before performing
pointer subtraction. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ieee802154: 6lowpan: fix NULL dereference in lowpan_newlink
TUNSETLINK allows a TUN device to change its link-layer type to
ARPHRD_IEEE802154 without initializing ieee802154_ptr. lowpan_newlink()
checks only the device type before dereferencing the pointer, so an
RTM_NEWLINK request can trigger a NULL pointer dereference.
Reject devices without ieee802154_ptr along with devices of the wrong type. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnxt_en: Propagate RX ring init failures in bnxt_init_nic()
bnxt_init_rx_rings() returns an error when bnxt_alloc_one_rx_ring()
fails, but bnxt_init_nic() discards that return value and calls
bnxt_init_chip(), which enables TPA.
If an allocation fails, this could leave rxr->rx_tpa[] partially zeroed
and TPA would be enabled over an array with zeroed entries. This would
lead to a zeroed DMA address being handed out if the agg_idx is
translated to a SW index at a zeroed entry.
Fix this by propagating the error out of bnxt_init_nic(). Both callers
already check its return value and unwind with bnxt_free_skbs() and
bnxt_free_mem(), which tolerate a partially initialized RX ring. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: avoid using uninitialized SIDs in cifs_posix_to_fattr()
cifs_posix_to_fattr() ignores the return value of posix_info_parse().
When a malformed POSIX directory entry is encountered (e.g. invalid
SID lengths from an untrusted server), posix_info_parse() returns -1
without populating the 'parsed' struct. The uninitialized stack
memory in parsed.owner and parsed.group is then passed to
sid_to_id(), which processes the garbage bytes and passes them to
request_key() to construct a SID string, potentially leaking kernel
stack contents to the userspace idmap daemon.
Fix this by checking the return value and skipping the SID-to-id
mapping when parsing fails. The remaining fattr fields (timestamps,
mode, etc.) are populated directly from the 'info' pointer so they
are unaffected. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: pegasus: don't rely on id table pointer arithmetic
The current code is broken when dynamic ID is involved; in such cases
usb_device_id parameter of probe lives on the heap and the pointer
arithmetic will get an index that is wildly out of bound. Instead of
keeping a side table for additional information, use driver_info field of
the usb_device_id.
The dynamic ID parsing code needs to be updated for this; convert it to
just write to the reserved entry for dynamic ID and remove the weird loop. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (asus_rog_ryujin) Validate HID report lengths
rog_ryujin_raw_event() parses response headers and payload fields without
first checking that they are present in the received report. A short report
can therefore make the driver consume uninitialized bytes from the HID
transport buffer and expose them as sensor values through sysfs.
Validate the response header and the fields used by each response type
before parsing them. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in UiCore UiCore Elements uicore-elements allows Stored XSS.This issue affects UiCore Elements: from n/a through 1.3.17. |
| In isPackageNullOrSystem of AppOpsService.java, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Premmerce Premmerce Product Search for WooCommerce premmerce-search allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Premmerce Product Search for WooCommerce: from n/a through 2.2.7. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conntrack: use get_unaligned_be32() in tcp_sack()
The timestamp-only fast path dereferences the option stream as
*(__be32 *)ptr, which assumes 4-byte alignment that the TCP option
stream does not guarantee. Use get_unaligned_be32() instead, which
reads the value safely and already returns host byte order, so the
htonl() on the comparison constant can be dropped.
This matches the existing get_unaligned_be32() use later in the same
function. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme: validate FDP configuration descriptor sizes
Validate descriptor sizes while walking the FDP configurations log so
dsze == 0 or a descriptor past the log end cannot cause unbounded
iteration or reads past the buffer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
thunderbolt: Set tb->root_switch to NULL when domain is stopped
Similarly what we do with the firmware connection manager. This makes
tb_xdp_handle_request() return error to the remote host. However, we
need to make sure we keep the uuid alive so that we can reply until the
whole domain is released. |
| Incorrect Privilege Assignment vulnerability in MultiVendorX Product Catalog Enquiry for WooCommerce by MultiVendorX woocommerce-catalog-enquiry allows Privilege Escalation.This issue affects Product Catalog Enquiry for WooCommerce by MultiVendorX: from n/a through 6.1.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: embed f2fs_gc_kthread in f2fs_sb_info
Instead of allocating f2fs_gc_kthread dynamically, embed it in
f2fs_sb_info. This simplifies lifetime management and prepares for
fixing race conditions during teardown.
- __sbi_store - remount|shutdown
- f2fs_stop_gc_thread
- access sbi->gc_thread
- sbi->gc_thread = NULL
- access sbi->gc_thread->f2fs_gc_task |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: validate TX_CMD response layout
TX_CMD parsing uses frame_count to walk status entries and then
read the trailing SCD SSN. Make the minimum-length check follow
that exact runtime layout calculation before parsing the payload.
For new TX API, reject TX_CMD responses with frame_count != 1 and
warn/return in the aggregation handler to document that aggregated
accounting is expected via BA notifications. |
| A flaw was found in the Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP v2) feature of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the system checks if a delegated administrator has permission to assign a specific role to a user. Because the check does not look inside composite roles to see what other permissions they contain, an administrator with limited rights can assign a role that secretly includes full administrative control. This allows the attacker to gain complete management access over the entire realm. |
| Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. Prior to 0.90.1, an authenticated workspace ADMIN can use the workspace invitation flow to invite an external email address with the OWNER role because the role ceiling does not prevent ADMIN users from granting privileges above their own. When the invitation is accepted, the new account receives OWNER-level permissions, allowing the ADMIN to create a backdoor OWNER account or promote a colluding external user to the workspace's highest privilege level. This issue is fixed in version 0.90.1. |
| The Bookly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 28.2 via the 'bookly_get_form_id', 'bookly_render_complete', 'bookly_add_to_calendar' and 'bookly_rollback_order' AJAX actions. This is due to the 'bookly_get_form_id' handler blindly storing the attacker-controlled 'order_id' from the submitted form_data into a new booking session, which the 'bookly_render_complete' handler then trusts to look up and return the corresponding Order's secret token without verifying that the current session created that order. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential order IDs, disclose other customers' order tokens, retrieve calendar/appointment information via 'bookly_add_to_calendar' and permanently delete arbitrary non-completed bookings via 'bookly_rollback_order', which cascade-deletes the customer_appointment and (when no other customers are attached) the underlying appointment. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: chips-media: wave5: Release m2m_ctx after Instance Removed from List
Possible use after free if IRQ thread manages to obtain spinlock between
m2m_ctx release and wave5_release function removing stream instance from
list of active instances. The IRQ thread looks for the m2m_ctx which is
freed so null pointer dereference occurs. |
| redis-parser through 3.0.0 fails to validate the multi-bulk length value in RESP protocol parsing, allowing attackers to trigger an uncaught RangeError by supplying an excessively large declared length. A malicious or compromised Redis endpoint can deliver a crafted RESP header with a length above 2^32-1 to crash the Node.js client process. |
