| CVE-2007-4091 | 1 Rsync | 1 Rsync | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Multiple off-by-one errors in the sender.c in rsync 2.6.9 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via directory names that are not properly handled when calling the f_name function. | ||||
| CVE-2008-1808 | 2 Freetype, Redhat | 2 Freetype, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Multiple off-by-one errors in FreeType2 before 2.3.6 allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via (1) a crafted table in a Printer Font Binary (PFB) file or (2) a crafted SHC instruction in a TrueType Font (TTF) file, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71237 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: Fix potential block overflow that cause system hang When a user executes the FITRIM command, an underflow can occur when calculating nblocks if end_block is too small. Since nblocks is of type sector_t, which is u64, a negative nblocks value will become a very large positive integer. This ultimately leads to the block layer function __blkdev_issue_discard() taking an excessively long time to process the bio chain, and the ns_segctor_sem lock remains held for a long period. This prevents other tasks from acquiring the ns_segctor_sem lock, resulting in the hang reported by syzbot in [1]. If the ending block is too small, typically if it is smaller than 4KiB range, depending on the usage of the segment 0, it may be possible to attempt a discard request beyond the device size causing the hang. Exiting successfully and assign the discarded size (0 in this case) to range->len. Although the start and len values in the user input range are too small, a conservative strategy is adopted here to safely ignore them, which is equivalent to a no-op; it will not perform any trimming and will not throw an error. | CVE-2026-21490 | 2 Color, Internationalcolorconsortium | 2 Iccdev, Iccdev | 2026-04-18 | 6.1 Medium |
| iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools that allow for the interaction, manipulation, and application of International Color Consortium (ICC) color management profiles. A vulnerability present in versions prior to 2.3.1.2 affects users of the iccDEV library who process ICC color profiles. It results in heap buffer overflow in `CIccTagLut16::Validate()`. Version 2.3.1.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23951 | 1 Sumatrapdfreader | 1 Sumatrapdf | 2026-04-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. All versions contain an off-by-one error in the validation code that only triggers with exactly 2 records, causing an integer underflow in the size calculation. This bug exists in PalmDbReader::GetRecord when opening a crafted Mobi file, resulting in an out-of-bounds heap read that crashes the app. There are no published fixes at the time of publication. | ||||

A vulnerability present in versions prior to 2.3.1.2 affects users of the iccDEV library who process ICC color profiles. It results in unicode buffer overflow in `CIccTagTextDescription`. Version 2.3.1.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40312 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-04-17 | 6.2 Medium |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions below 7.1.2-19, an off by one error in the MSL decoder could result in a crash when a malicous MSL file is read. This issue has been fixed in version 7.1.2-19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21870 | 1 Bacnetstack | 1 Bacnet Stack | 2026-04-17 | 5.5 Medium |
| BACnet Protocol Stack library provides a BACnet application layer, network layer and media access (MAC) layer communications services. In 1.4.2, 1.5.0.rc2, and earlier, an off-by-one stack-based buffer overflow in the ubasic interpreter causes a crash (SIGABRT) when processing string literals longer than the buffer limit. The tokenizer_string function in src/bacnet/basic/program/ubasic/tokenizer.c incorrectly handles null termination for maximum-length strings. It writes a null byte to dest[40] when the buffer size is only 40 (indices 0-39), triggering a stack overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2703 | 1 Xlnt-community | 1 Xlnt | 2026-04-17 | 3.3 Low |
| A weakness has been identified in xlnt-community xlnt up to 1.6.1. Impacted is the function xlnt::detail::decode_base64 of the file source/detail/cryptography/base64.cpp of the component Encrypted XLSX File Parser. Executing a manipulation can lead to off-by-one. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This patch is called f2d7bf494e5c52706843cf7eb9892821bffb0734. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-25989 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-04-16 | 7.5 High |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, a crafted SVG file can cause a denial of service. An off-by-one boundary check (`>` instead of `>=`) that allows bypass the guard and reach an undefined `(size_t)` cast. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch. | ||||
| CVE-2026-26309 | 1 Envoyproxy | 1 Envoy | 2026-04-16 | 5.3 Medium |
| Envoy is a high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. Prior to 1.37.1, 1.36.5, 1.35.8, and 1.34.13, an off-by-one write in Envoy::JsonEscaper::escapeString() can corrupt std::string null-termination, causing undefined behavior and potentially leading to crashes or out-of-bounds reads when the resulting string is later treated as a C-string. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.37.1, 1.36.5, 1.35.8, and 1.34.13. | ||||

| Off-by-one error in alterMIME 0.1.10 and 0.1.11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via an x-header that causes snprintf overwrite the FFGET_FILE variable with a (null) byte. | ||||
| CVE-2001-1391 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Linux | 2026-04-16 | 5.5 Medium |

| Off-by-one error in the fb_realpath() function, as derived from the realpath function in BSD, may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code, as demonstrated in wu-ftpd 2.5.0 through 2.6.2 via commands that cause pathnames of length MAXPATHLEN+1 to trigger a buffer overflow, including (1) STOR, (2) RETR, (3) APPE, (4) DELE, (5) MKD, (6) RMD, (7) STOU, or (8) RNTO. | ||||
| CVE-2004-0342 | 1 Wftpd Pro Server Project | 1 Wftpd Pro Server | 2026-04-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| WFTPD Pro Server 3.21 Release 1, with the XeroxDocutech option enabled, allows local users to cause a denial of service (crash) via a (1) MKD or (2) XMKD command that causes an absolute path of 260 characters to be used, which overwrites a cookie with a null character, possibly due to an off-by-one error. | ||||
| CVE-2005-1268 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 6 Http Server, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| Off-by-one error in the mod_ssl Certificate Revocation List (CRL) verification callback in Apache, when configured to use a CRL, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (child process crash) via a CRL that causes a buffer overflow of one null byte. | ||||
