CVSS v3.1 |
The parisneo/lollms repository is affected by a timing attack vulnerability in the `authenticate_user` function within the `lollms_authentication.py` file. This vulnerability allows attackers to enumerate valid usernames and guess passwords incrementally by analyzing response time differences. The affected version is the latest, and the issue is resolved in version 20.1. The vulnerability arises from the use of Python's default string equality operator for password comparison, which compares characters sequentially and exits on the first mismatch, leading to variable response times based on the number of matching initial characters.
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in funnyzpc Mee-Admin up to 1.6. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /mee/login of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument username leads to observable response discrepancy. The attack can be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
| A vulnerability in the External Interface of OTRS allows conclusions to be drawn about the existence of user accounts through different HTTP response codes and messages. This enables an attacker to systematically identify valid email addresses.
This issue affects:
* OTRS 7.0.X
* OTRS 8.0.X
* OTRS 2023.X
* OTRS 2024.X
* OTRS 2025.X |
CWE-203: Observable Discrepancy
Observable discrepancy in some Intel(R) QAT Engine for OpenSSL software before version v1.6.1 may allow information disclosure via network access.
The login functionality of the web server in affected devices does not normalize the response times of login attempts. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this side-channel information to distinguish between valid and invalid usernames.
In veilid-core in Veilid before 0.3.4, the protocol's ping function can be misused in a way that decreases the effectiveness of safety and private routes.
Certain Cypress (and Broadcom) Wireless Combo chips, when a January 2021 firmware update is not present, allow inferences about memory content via a "Spectra" attack.
Observable discrepancy in RAPL interface for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
User enumeration vulnerability in /pwreset.php in osTicket v1.18.2 allows remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames registered in the platform.
The Page Restriction WordPress (WP) – Protect WP Pages/Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.6 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as administrator.
GLPI 9.5.7 contains a username enumeration vulnerability in the lost password recovery mechanism that allows attackers to validate email addresses. Attackers can systematically test email addresses by submitting requests to the password reset endpoint and analyzing response differences to identify valid user accounts.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, macOS Ventura 13.7.2. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data.
A privacy issue was addressed by moving sensitive data to a more secure location. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5. A malicious application may be able to determine a user's current location.
A timing side-channel issue was addressed with improvements to constant-time computation in cryptographic functions. This issue is fixed in iOS 16.7.6 and iPadOS 16.7.6, iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3, macOS Monterey 12.7.4, macOS Sonoma 14.3, macOS Ventura 13.6.5, tvOS 17.3, watchOS 10.3. An attacker may be able to decrypt legacy RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 ciphertexts without having the private key.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.54 and 9.6.0-alpha.43, an attacker can subscribe to LiveQuery with a watch parameter targeting a protected field. Although the protected field value is properly stripped from event payloads, the presence or absence of update events reveals whether the protected field changed, creating a binary oracle. For boolean protected fields, the timing of change events is equivalent to knowing the field value. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.54 and 9.6.0-alpha.43.
A vulnerability was found that the response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2, unauthenticated users can determine whether a specific user is a member of a private group by observing changes in directory results when using the `exclude_groups` parameter. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. As a workaround, disable public access to the user directory via Admin → Settings → hide user profiles from public.
wolfSSL 5.8.4 on RISC-V RV32I architectures lacks a constant-time software implementation for 64-bit multiplication. The compiler-inserted __muldi3 subroutine executes in variable time based on operand values. This affects multiple SP math functions (sp_256_mul_9, sp_256_sqr_9, etc.), leading to a timing side-channel that may expose sensitive cryptographic data.
In wolfSSL 5.8.4, constant-time masking logic in sp_256_get_entry_256_9 is optimized into conditional branches (bnez) by GCC when targeting RISC-V RV32I with -O3. This transformation breaks the side-channel resistance of ECC scalar multiplication, potentially allowing a local attacker to recover secret keys via timing analysis.
