| CVE-2026-53264 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-29 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_api: use RCU with deferred freeing for action lifecycle When NEWTFILTER and DELFILTER are run concurrently it is possible to create a race with an associated action. Let's illustrate with CPU0 running NEWTFILTER and CPU1 running DELFILTER: 0: mutex_lock() <-- holds the idr lock 0: rcu_read_lock() 0: p = idr_find(idr, index) <-- action p is valid (RCU protects IDR) 0: mutex_unlock() <-- releases the idr lock 1: refcount_dec_and_mutex_lock() <-- refcnt 1->0, mutex held 1: idr_remove(idr, index) <-- Action removed from IDR 1: mutex_unlock() <-- mutex released allowing us to delete the action 1: tcf_action_cleanup(p); kfree(p) <-- Kfrees p immediately, no deferral 0: refcount_inc_not_zero(&p->tcfa_refcnt) <-- ouch, UAF p points to freed memory This patch fixes the race condition between NEWTFILTER and DELFILTER by adding struct rcu_head to tc_action used in the deferral and introducing a call_rcu() in the delete path to defer the final kfree(). Note: this is a revert of commit d7fb60b9cafb ("net_sched: get rid of tcfa_rcu") but also modernization/simplification to directly use kfree_rcu(). Let's illustrate the new restored code path: 0: rcu_read_lock() 1: refcount_dec_and_mutex_lock() <-- refcnt 1->0, mutex held 1: idr_remove(idr, index) 1: mutex_unlock() 1: call_rcu(&p->tcfa_rcu, tcf_action_rcu_free) <-- defer kfree after grace period 0: p = idr_find(idr, index) 0: refcount_inc_not_zero(&p->tcfa_refcnt) <-- fails, refcnt already 0 1: rcu_read_unlock() <-- release so freeing can run after grace period After CPU1 calls idr_remove(), the object is no longer reachable through the IDR. CPU0's subsequent idr_find() will return NULL, and even if it still held a stale pointer, the immediate kfree() is now deferred until after the RCU grace period, so no UAF can occur. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14760 | 2 Radare, Radareorg | 2 Radare2, Radare2 | 2026-07-29 | 3.3 Low |
| A weakness has been identified in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. Impacted is the function r_core_seek_arch_bits of the file libr/core/disasm.c of the component regprofile Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to use after free. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This patch is called 8b25c773785d85cb0103410a0905089d286921c2. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1829 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2026-07-29 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux Kernel traffic control index filter (tcindex) can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The tcindex_delete function which does not properly deactivate filters in case of a perfect hashes while deleting the underlying structure which can later lead to double freeing the structure. A local attacker user can use this vulnerability to elevate its privileges to root. We recommend upgrading past commit 8c710f75256bb3cf05ac7b1672c82b92c43f3d28 https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/ . | ||||
| CVE-2026-15113 | 1 Google | 2 Android, Chrome | 2026-07-29 | 9.6 Critical |
| Use after free in Autofill in Google Chrome on Android prior to 150.0.7871.115 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) | ||||
| CVE-2025-10729 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 8.6 High |
| The module will parse a <pattern> node which is not a child of a structural node. The node will be deleted after creation but might be accessed later leading to a use after free. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5991 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 5.6 Medium |
| There is a "Use After Free" vulnerability in Qt's QHttp2ProtocolHandler in the QtNetwork module. This only affects HTTP/2 handling, HTTP handling is not affected by this at all. This happens due to a race condition between how QHttp2Stream uploads the body of a POST request and the simultaneous handling of HTTP error responses. This issue only affects Qt 6.9.0 and has been fixed for Qt 6.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56434 | 1 F5 | 5 Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller, Nginx Open Source and 2 more | 2026-07-29 | 6.5 Medium |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_ssi_module module. This vulnerability may exist when the Server-Side Includes (SSI), proxy_pass, and proxy_buffering off directives are configured. With this configuration, an unauthenticated attacker with man-in-the-middle (MITM) ability to control responses from an upstream server may be able to cause a use-after-free in the NGINX worker process. This issue may lead to limited modification of memory or a restart of the NGINX worker process. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to have limited control to modify memory contents or restart the NGINX worker process. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62426 | 1 Xen | 1 Xen | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] To manage the system, sysctl and platform operations are used by the control domain or a possible Xenstore domain. Some of these operations may not be executed in parallel, so a system-wide lock each is used. The way those locks are acquired is, however, not providing any fairness. Furthermore, with XSM/Flask in use, the lock acquire will, for some operations, occur ahead of any permission checking. The sysctl issue is CVE-2026-62426. The platform-op issue is CVE-2026-62427. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54620 | 1 Sparklemotion | 1 Sqlite3-ruby | 2026-07-28 | 4.5 Medium |
| sqlite3 provides Ruby bindings for the SQLite3 embedded database. From 2.1.0 to 2.9.4, the callbacks used for SQLite aggregate functions can be freed while still referenced during aggregation, resulting in a use-after-free. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.5. | ||||
| CVE-2022-3636 | 2 Debian, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Kernel, Linux Kernel | 2026-07-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was identified in Linux Kernel 33fc42de33278b2b3ec6f3390512987bc29a62b7. This affects the function __mtk_ppe_check_skb of the file drivers/net/ethernet/mediatek/mtk_ppe.c of the component Ethernet Handler. Such manipulation leads to use after free. The name of the patch is 17a5f6a78dc7b8db385de346092d7d9f9dc24df6. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. No released Linux Kernel version was ever affected by this CVE. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4244 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-07-28 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8. | ||||

| CVE-2026-56117 | 2 Dhcpcd Project, Networkconfiguration | 2 Dhcpcd, Dhcpcd | 2026-07-28 | 4.7 Medium |
| dhcpcd through 10.3.2, fixed in commit 78ea09e, contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in the control socket handling within src/control.c that allows local unprivileged attackers to trigger memory corruption when privilege separation is disabled. Attackers can connect to the control socket and send a privileged command such as -x, causing control_recvdata() to free the client object while the same READ+HANGUP event subsequently reaches control_hangup() with the stale pointer, resulting in a use-after-free condition exploitable in deployments using --disable-privsep or where privsep initialization has failed with the control socket operating in mode 0666. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56113 | 2 Dhcpcd Project, Networkconfiguration | 2 Dhcpcd, Dhcpcd | 2026-07-28 | 5.3 Medium |
| dhcpcd through 10.3.2, fixed in commit 5733d3c, contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability that allows unauthenticated same-link attackers to crash the daemon by sending a crafted DHCPv6 RENEW reply with RFC6603 OPTION_PD_EXCLUDE and both preferred and valid lifetimes set to zero. Attackers acting as or impersonating a DHCPv6 server can trigger dhcp6_deprecatedele() to free a delegated child address while an outer TAILQ_FOREACH_SAFE iterator in dhcp6_deprecateaddrs() still holds the freed pointer, causing a use-after-free when TAILQ_REMOVE is reached. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66032 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 5e47761, contains a double-free vulnerability in the sftp_open() function in src/sftp.c that allows a malicious SSH server to corrupt the heap of any authenticated client opening an SFTP session. When a server responds to SSH_FXP_OPEN with SSH_FXP_STATUS containing FX_OK, the response data buffer is freed, and if a subsequent sftp_packet_require() call returns a specific error such as LIBSSH2_ERROR_CHANNEL_PACKET_EXCEEDED, the same pointer is freed a second time, enabling tcache dup conditions on glibc systems that allow overlapping allocations and function pointer overwrites. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64832 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| FFmpeg versions 4.4 through 8.1.2 contain a double-free vulnerability in the NVIDIA NVDEC hardware decoder within libavcodec/nvdec.c that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by supplying a crafted video file. When no decoder surfaces remain, the ff_nvdec_start_frame_sep_ref error path frees memory via nvdec_fdd_priv_free while the calling layer subsequently frees the same frame description data, resulting in a double-free of the underlying decoder context in any FFmpeg-based application using NVDEC hardware-accelerated decoding. | ||||
