| Pimcore is an Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform. Prior to 2026.1.5, an authenticated user with the objects permission can submit a malicious ClassDefinition UID because the name and ID validation expressions in models/DataObject/ClassDefinition.php validate only the beginning of each value. When a data object of that class containing a Block field is loaded, Block::load in models/DataObject/ClassDefinition/Data/Block.php incorporates the stored class ID into an unquoted object table identifier, allowing the UID to supply SQL syntax. The resulting query can read or modify arbitrary Pimcore database tables, including disclosure of password hashes, and the flaw represents an incomplete validation hardening because earlier work added a start anchor without enforcing the end of the identifier. This issue is fixed in version 2026.1.5. | ||||

| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.6.59, the CODE_TOOLS wrappers keep _workspace_root as None and pass workspace=None to read_file, search_replace, and apply_diff helpers that enforce path containment only for a truthy workspace. An application that exposes code_read_file, code_search_replace, or code_apply_diff before set_workspace can therefore let prompt-influenced calls read and modify files outside the intended project directory, while explicitly configured workspaces remain effective. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.6.59. | ||||

| hashi-vault-js is a Node.js module for interacting with the HashiCorp Vault API. Prior to 0.5.2, every API method in src/Vault.js passes failed requests through parseAxiosError(), which rethrows the raw AxiosError while retaining AxiosError.config and the equivalent response configuration. These objects can contain the X-Vault-Token request header and err.config.data request body, including submitted passwords or secret values. When a consuming application records the caught exception through console logging, structured loggers, monitoring, crash reporting, or an application performance monitoring service, the live Vault token and request secrets can be stored in plaintext and exposed to anyone with access to that output. A stolen token can permit unauthorized access to the Vault instance under the token's policies. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2. | ||||

| SQLAdmin is a flexible Admin interface for SQLAlchemy models. Prior to 0.27.1, ModelView.sort_query in sqladmin/models.py accepts the attacker-controlled sortBy list-view query parameter without enforcing the configured column_sortable_list server-side allow-list in self._sort_fields. The value is resolved with getattr and passed to relationship joins and order_by, allowing requests to sort by columns hidden from column_list and by related-model columns through dotted paths. The resulting row order forms an information-exposure oracle for unexposed values, and reversing ascending and descending order confirms their relative ordering. Pairing sortBy with searchable or filterable columns and pagination can narrow the oracle toward specific values, but exact recovery depends on the application's available fields and data. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.1. | ||||

| backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36, Backpack\CRUD\Stats::makeCurlRequest in src/Stats.php is reached from BackpackServiceProvider::boot() and constructs a shell command with a URL influenced by the HTTP Host header, which it passes to exec() without adequate shell neutralization. An unauthenticated attacker whose malformed Host value reaches PHP can inject operating-system commands when exec() and curl are available and the 1-in-100 random gate is reached. Repeated requests can reach the random gate. Successful exploitation executes commands as the web-server user, exposing environment secrets, files, and reachable services and permitting data modification or service disruption. Common reverse-proxy Host validation and hardened PHP configurations that disable exec() reduce reachability but do not correct the vulnerable construction. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36. | ||||

| The LdapAuth and LinOTPAuth authentication plugins in MISP contain an authentication bypass vulnerability. Both LdapAuthenticate and LinOTPAuthenticate replace CakePHP's FormAuthenticate class but fail to replicate its _checkFields() input validation guard. As a result, the email and password fields extracted from the login request are passed to downstream authentication logic without verifying that they are non-empty strings. In the LDAP authenticator, an empty or null password is forwarded to ldap_bind(). Per RFC 4513 section 5.1.2, a bind request with a valid DN and an empty password constitutes an unauthenticated bind, which many LDAP directory servers accept as successful. An attacker who knows any valid user email address in the directory can therefore authenticate as that user without possessing a password. Additionally, non-string values (null, false, arrays) are either coerced to empty strings by ldap_bind(), raise TypeErrors, or are misinterpreted as find conditions in _findUser(), all of which can lead to unintended authentication outcomes. In the LinOTP authenticator, the same missing guard allows non-string credentials to be concatenated into the LinOTP verification request, and in the mixed-authentication branch an empty password is accepted against a stored hash of the empty string. A secondary issue in the LDAP authenticator is that newly created user accounts (auto-provisioned on first LDAP login) were assigned an empty password. Because the save path skips validation, the empty string is hashed and stored. If the user later ceases to be found in LDAP and the mixed-authentication fallback is used, the stored hash of the empty string verifies against an empty password, again permitting unauthenticated access. The vulnerability requires that the affected plugin (LdapAuth or LinOTPAuth) is enabled on the MISP instance and that the attacker knows at least one valid email address registered in the directory or MISP user store. No prior authentication is required. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the full privileges of the impersonated user, which may include administrative access to threat intelligence data. | Description getTopologyPageInfo merged the Nimbus daemon configuration with the topology's own configuration and returned the result without redaction in the topology_conf field of TopologyPageInfo. The Storm UI copied that value verbatim into the configuration field of GET /api/v1/topology/{id} and of the corresponding metrics endpoint. Where the cluster is configured with them, the merged map includes storm.zookeeper.auth.payload, which Storm's own documentation directs operators to keep in storm-cluster-auth.yaml under permissions that deny access from workers, together with the keystore and truststore passwords for the Thrift, Netty and ZooKeeper TLS configuration, and any plugin key whose name denotes a secret. getTopologyPageInfo is a topology read-only operation. Under SimpleACLAuthorizer a principal listed in topology.readonly.users or topology.readonly.groups could therefore read daemon credentials that the dedicated cluster configuration API, getNimbusConf, redacts and that is gated on nimbus.users instead. The sibling operations that exist to serve configuration were masked; the topology page, which merges in strictly more daemon state, was not. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where credential-bearing values are masked before any configuration is served over the Nimbus API. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should remove any principal that is not trusted with cluster credentials from topology.readonly.users, topology.readonly.groups, topology.users and topology.groups, and should rotate the ZooKeeper authentication payload and any TLS keystore or truststore passwords that were reachable through the topology page. | Description A submitted topology carries two lists of blobstore keys, `dependency_jars` and `dependency_artifacts`, which the client fills in after uploading the corresponding blobs. Nimbus performed no validation of their contents on the submission path, yet acts on them in two places. During cleanup of a finished topology, Nimbus deletes the keys named in those lists, and the deletion is performed as the Nimbus subject, for which the blobstore short-circuits its ACL check. A submitter who listed a key belonging to another topology, such as its `-stormjar.jar`, could therefore cause that blob to be deleted when their own topology was cleaned up. Separately, on acquiring leadership a Nimbus compares the dependency keys of all active topologies against the blobstore contents and surrenders leadership if any is missing. A single key that does not exist, on a single active topology, therefore causes every Nimbus to acquire leadership, surrender it and requeue indefinitely, leaving the cluster without a leader and unable to schedule, clean up or accept submissions. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where a submission is refused unless every entry in both lists is a dependency blob key and exists in the blobstore. Note that this validates new submissions only; a topology stored by an affected version with an invalid list is unaffected by the upgrade. An operator whose cluster is failing to retain a leader should inspect the Nimbus log for the dependency keys reported as missing and remove or resubmit the topology naming them.
